Hobby store decided to buy an rc car off of me on eBay. they gave me negative feedback because the body was on backwards in the box. I'd expect this type of unprofessionalism from a hobby shop that is temporarily closed

Been building model cars for many years and I have been buying quite a few from them. they have a great selection of plastic accessories to customize and build them the way I like. my son loves the Thomas the train section, always finds something he thinks he needs. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very easy parking. Will continue to patronize PVH for many more years! Just heard that they will be closing in April. sorry to hear, we will be losing a great hobby store

Nice little hobby shop in West Springfield. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. My main interest is in HO Train accessories and equipment and they have a pretty good selection. Staff is friendly and helpful. This is a regular stop for me if just to browse.

Hobby shops are a dying breed, this is your classic model/model train shop. Friendly and helpful staff, decent selection. A good place to spend way more money than you should.

Wow!!! Loving the new spot. They got everything from A-Z. Very friendly..great customer service/ help get my drone back in the air by replacing the old one. This is the place to go to get ur rc. Cars/ truck / plame / boat. Come here!! You wont regret it

That is, they have an excellent selection of trains - from rolling stock to engines in all scales, plus all the scenery and accessories you may ever want. Combine that with good ole' friendly customer service!

Through good times and bad, Pioneer Hobbies have met all challenges to give this hobby a local access to great hobbies with expertise and service not found on line. Some comments note a price higher than on line, but if we do not support our local rr enthusiast who provide services with a higher overhead,we will have no local support. The advice and help in the design and contraction for my rr. Is a personal service not found elsewhere. Support our local businesses to maintain the quality of this hobby.

I love this shop. I drive 200 miles from BT to come here and worth the trip. Old time hobby shop and a gem in Springfield! Great owners, selection and range. What hobby shops used to be!
