What a lovely store. The product selection is very well thought out and merchandised to allow for accessorizing. From beautiful clothing to bags & dish wear, to Finnish cook books and unique household items, Pirkko is a pleasure to visit. Keeping it local!
Such a great variety of quality Finnish goods! You can tell that a lot of care is taken in deciding what ends up on the rack. Friendly staff too! Last time I was in, my girlfriend and I found a shirt that made her butt look amazing, which is not a sentence I ever thought I'd say, but this shop delivered!
I love seeing the Finnish culture represented here. I feel like it's not super "tourist friendly" though...perhaps more for the locals. We travel light and only have backpacks...so we are tight on space. It doesn't really allow for bigger purchases. I'd love to see more "smalls"--magnets, stickers, earrings, etc. Kiitos!
I adore this place. Super friendly staff. Prices are reasonable for the A+ quality. I didn't realize they carried clothing perfect for the office, too. If I had sewing skills, I would love the textiles on hand!
Wonderful and memorable shopping trip today. I purchased Marikekko dresses for my birthday & a beautiful coat and my daughter bought decor for her new college home. Lots of lovely items to remind us of our time in Finland. It was even more special memory as we had the expert guidance from Pirrko. Fabulous store, amazing products and incredible service.
I made a special trip to buy fabric for my kitchen. I found it - it's happy and joyful. Then I looked at dresses - and left with two !, a matching necklace and note cards. Great Finnish marimekko products, and other products imported from Finland and Scandinavia. The Iittala products are high quality. I ordered many Iittala drinking glasses from them. Great products for gifts.
I love Pirkko, kind owner and beautiful store so much! Their shipping service is always fast and great. I’m looking forward to shopping there again!
