Absolutely amazing. I hate the dentist. I am beyond petrified and they took their time and were very caring and compassionate. The dentist was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable and the tech was super super sweet. I have definitely found my new dentist. I have avoided the dentist for years because I am so afraid but had to go because I was in so much pain. They were absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough how pleased I was with the care I received. A thousand stars.
Cannot say enough about Dr. Heemstra and his staff. They make you feel so comfortable and taken care of, as if you are part of the family. Everyone in the office is incredibly caring and welcoming, and make what can be a stressful visit very comforting. Never thought I would rave about a dental office, but I’ve been telling all of my friends and family about them. I myself have had several bad experiences at dentist offices, and now I won’t go anywhere else!
So grateful and blessed to have found this dentist! My husband swapped our boys over to this office after going to a very busy, less personal office and my goodness my son looks forward to going - absolutely adores the Dentist and the ladies that work here have such a personable and calm, nurturing environment- I plan to switch over to this Dentist as well. Truly the best practice I’ve been to in my experience.
They were very easy to deal with from setting up the appointment to filling out insurance information. I'm really bad with remembering appointments and they followed up a week before and then again the day before to remind. I had a cleaning scheduled and some other issues to address. The cleaning was one of the least painful cleanings I've had in over 30 years and they set a plan to address my other issues. Definitely the best dentist office around.
We absolutely love Pittsburgh South Dentistry. We drive from Mt Lebanon to see Dr. Heemstra. They are wonderful with kids and patients that are not a fan of the dentist. Dr. Heemstra is extremely patient and kind. The dental hygienist is very gentle and good if you’re less than thrilled to get your teeth cleaned!
I had two root canals done. Dr.Heemstra & his assistant are wonderful. They are very kind & explain everything. I highly recommend him. All the staff are wonderful & friendly. Great dental practice.
The office personal are so helpful and kind. My cleaning with Janine is always great. Dr. Heemstra is very caring and gentle with his work. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you Pittsburgh South Dentistry!
Pittsburgh South Denistry with Dr Heemstra is the best dentist I have ever been to. He makes you feel so comfortable when he is working on your teeth that you don’t feel a thing. I will recommend him to everyone. This is coming from someone who hates going to the dentist. Dr Heemstra has changed my mind about dentistry.
The dentist was very kind and gave me an overview of my visit. My hygienist was amazing. She was so helpful and gentle and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand.
Wonderful!!! Really made me feel confident with the dental plan that we came up with. I didn't feel taken advantage of with extra costs. Highly recommend!
