The interior of this location is great. It is really spacious. I was a little confused at first because the cardio equipment is all in the back, but there is plenty of space and equipment. Everything was really clean and was actively being cleaned while I was there. There was an incredibly diverse customer population which created a welcoming environment. I have to say this was a big surprise because it looked a little sketchy from the outside, I think that might just be because the gym is inside of an old repurposed strip mall. I have visited at least 6 locations in the area and this is one of the top 2 for sure.
Slowing starting to get there, but by far this PF and the new one off Patapsco Ave is the best ones very clean nice people and wonderful staff have being going to this one more frequently but I love it and have been going with my parter at least 3-4x a week now!! Definitely would recommend
I’m visiting from out of town and picked this location for a hydro-massage to help with my back pain. I was greeted by Reg and Brie at the front desk and they were sooooooo helpful and nice. I could not have had a better experience.
My main workout facility when in B-more. Just like every other planet fitness, all their equipment is well maintained and ready for use. The tanning and hydromassage beds are included in my $20 monthly membership. My membership is good at any planet fitness in any other state, which is awesome considering how often I travel. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. One star deduction for not having a stand up tanning bed at this location.
Best area to to work out at!! We customers are all there for the same goals and multiple reasons it's an awesome environment to be in and the staff is hella sweet and are super swift and fast on there feet to help out anyone in need. This is the place to come and enjoy a nice workout
The facilities are clean including both the gym floor and the locker room. The staff is professional and pleasant. However, I have seen over the past 2 months during the summer some situations that are occurring out on the gym floor that are concerning. Number one many individuals bringing bags onto the gym floor. Not just small bags mind you but large gym bags and backpacks despite the signs advising not to. Not only does this create a tripping hazard but keep in mind this facility is located snap dab in the middle of some of the most high crime zip codes in Anne Arundel county. Firearms can be easily concealed in a gym bag or backpack. Although the gym staff like I said is pleasant and professional I do not see them actively enforcing these policies that are posted on the floor that include no bags, no use of the cell phone, and of course no firearms. These risks are easily mitigated by enforcing the posted polies. I am curious for your response on why this is not happening? If you were waiting for an actual incident to occur you realize that as a organization you would be at significant legal risk.
Clean and Great Service! Workers are kind and they work really to maintain the gym and keep it serviceable. Appreciate you guys! this gym also has most equipment that you need to get in a good workout. They do not have bench presses or squat racks. Just Smith machines to do those exercises such as squat, bench press, and dead lift.
I don't like the reduced hours as they should go back to being open 24/7 again precovide times. They reconstructed the women's locker rooms and bathrooms there's "zero" privacy in the changing and shower stalls it's too open of a floor plan.
It’s my back up PF but I enjoy going there when I’m in the area. The facility is large, clean, and they have the arc trainers that I prefer.
I like the idea of planet fitness. But everytime I workout implementing the 30-minute circuit training someone is always doing two and three sets of exercise, which stops the flow of my workout... Sometimes they're just sitting on the machine looking at their phone. It would be nice if planet fitness enforce the rules of the 30-minute circuit training.
