I like how the showers are designed in the man’s restroom, which makes it easy to change the clothes immediately after taking a shower without finding an empty stall to dress up again. The water in the shower is also quite warm. And the staff members are quite friendly*But one thing that I wish is that the water would be more hotter
This is the best Planet Fitness in the valley. I don't live in the area, but come here every weekend I can. Cleanest and most relaxing gym I've found!
Love PF! I was in Vasa, but it is always so busy! Love that they have the hydromassage beds, the beauty lamp, tanning beds included! Its worth the $5.00 extra.
Nice gym. However some of the personal trainers can be kind of loud coaching or motivating their trainees. Just don't consider this a Planet Fitness kind of vibe. Also depending on time of day too many people in cardio area talking loudly on their phones. Not expecting it to be a library but some people don't know their own volumes and it can make it hard to listen to music or whatever even with headphones in. And lastly, this probably isn't fair to say here because it includes all gyms, why have so much depressing news on the TVs? Aren't gyms supposed to be a positive and upbeat environment? I can look at news anytime but would prefer it not to be forced on me at the gym. But again that's almost all gyms. Makes no sense.
Been coming for over 5 years! Always clean, well maintained, friendly staff. There is always an employee walking around deep cleaning machines and returning equipment. By far the best run gym I have visited!
I live in WJ but drive to this PF because it’s clean and the staff are super friendly. The only reason I took one star off my review is because this location is smaller than the newer PF’s, and I wish they had more mat room and stair climbers. But, overall it’s chill.
Spent 20mins on the bike with my uncle on the phone as my personal trainer and then moved on to the row machine and he was teaching me how to sit properly on it. I had a white, male worker come up to me to tell me that I can't use my phone or record myself working out and that I can only use my phone in the lobby and nowhere else. Mind you, there were two other white males using their phones by the row machines and the bathrooms by the treadmills. I did not record myself, I was on FaceTime with my uncle with my phone only facing me and nothing and no one else. My uncle asked if there were signs around that said no phones and I asked a female worker whom was also white with long black hair and two blonde streaks in the front of her hair if she could take me to a sign in this Planet Fitness gym with the words no cell phones on it and she would not show me a sign or take me to any. She said they were around. I told them I'll take my business elsewhere since I did not sign a contract upon request by the blonde white male worker at the front desk. I went to the bathroom on my phone with my uncle to change my clothes and left. I am disappointed in the staff here, this was my first time going to a gym in years.
The place is always kept spotless. The personnel are always very helpful and friendly. They have plenty of exercise equipment, including stair steppers, treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical, weight machines, and free weights.
This is the best Planet Fitnesses location. They are willing to sign you upon the club. The Millcreek location said you can only sign up using the app. The staff is extremely friendly unlike the Millcreek location. And willing to help. It is a totally different culture at this location with this ownership!
I found the staff to be nice but rude regarding helping my wife and I around. We are black card members from a different franchise and they had us sign in but didn't even offer a tour or point us to the locker rooms at all. Well here is a list of Pros and Cons. Pros: -large gym with plenty of equipment - if locker room with great shower area that is almost private. -black card members spa is kept clean and have a new style tanning bed -clean atmosphere Cons: -The dress code does not say anywhere that shorts have to touch your fingettips?! I'm posting a picture as well with the dresscode on it. We work put at other planet fitness locations and have no problem. The assistant manager interrupted our workout to basically ask us to leave die to this. She also right after accused some old lady of being a personal trainer to her friend when they were only working out together. - 30 minute work out zone is the brightest lit area in the gym and its location is designed so everyone on cardio machines can watch you as well as people outside. Not very friendly putting people on the spot like that. Not too inviting at all. Hence why I'm sure very few were using it. -havong to walk farther away to grab a paper towel than you do a cleaner. They should be located in the same spot. Of there is no dispenser there then place one or a roll of towels out. -locker rooms were nice but needed some major TLC in the bathrooms and showers. -machines are too close to each other not much breathing room they tried to pack in as many as they could on cardio and other machines near by. - staff just standing around counter when there was like 6 of them up there and the bathrooms wernt checked the whole 2 hours I was there. - parking is very horrible due to surrounding business customers as well. Narrow lot runs and tight turns and no one near daybreak parkway knows how to park or drive. - no "thank you" for coming in on the way out. This is my personal opinion and not the company's position.
