There was a mouse in a patient's room and a large roach at the nurse's station. The nurses didn't think there was a problem with these unwanted guests. Seems they occupy patient rooms, hallways and nurse's station. Very deplorable living arrangements.
I would like to start with the physical therapy department. The rehab department are extremely hard workers Ken, Tom, and Anita Dorthea was the first one to tell me about this place and everything she said is true. I am really glad I came to Plantation Bay Rehab Center. Debbie is a GREAT Director of Nursing. The nurses work very hard. Jessica and Sandra are amazing housekeepers. Betty is a mother figure to me at this facility. Cathy is great too in admissions! Diane in Restorative really loves what she does. Laura and her team in Activities have the best calendar and events. Davina in Social Services is so sweet. Neisha and Michele are hard workers. Last but not least, the fearless leader, Bryce, the administrator. I had the opportunity to see him work with all individuals, patients and employees, and he does a great job getting to know each and every one of us. If I forgot anyone charge it to my head and not my heart
Less than a star, no star at all. Thanks to this institution my Mom has embarked to the Journey of no return. Their negligence escalated on my Mom’s health to the point she passed away. To top it off, a few hours after my Mom was gone they only cared about me taking her belongings out of the room she use to occupy. Thank you Plantation Bay Rehabilitation Center for breaking my life apart. Once the review was posted, they called me again to go over how they supposedly were not rushing me to take her belongings out. Making it worst, because they were confirming they didn't' care about my Mom's passing, they were just focusing on material things. From my review, loosing my Mom for them was nothing, not addressed, they were more focused on what I said about them rushing me and asking me to take her belongings out of her room. Just an example of how important lives are for them. I can only say may God help every elderly in this facility, because surely the personnel there will not help them or care enough to make sure they are well taken care.
If I could give less than one star I would. Keep your loved ones AWAY!!! My mother in law was transported to this abysmal excuse for a rehabilitation center around 9pm in the evening. She like many elderly had fallen earlier this week and broke her femur. As she arrives she needs to use the restroom, well they said the only option would be a diaper. Really? A diaper? The woman just fell broke her leg and you’re making her wear a diaper? At this point she needed to go so she wore it. The nurse comes in and tells my wife to step out of the room. The next thing my wife hears is her mother screaming in pain. The nurses are manhandling her and pushing on her incision on her BROKEN LEG! They didn’t even bother to look why she was even there. They just wanted to get her changed so they could go back to their break room. So I call and speak with a ‘Debbie’ who I quickly let know that I am not very happy with what took place. I proceed to tell her what happened and I stated we would be finding another facility. Well this really perked Debbie up! She was quick then to ask me where we would be taking her and wanted more information on the designated place. Um, it’s now 10pm and even your own administration is not available. Why would another rehabilitation center’s administration be available? I let her know this would be taking place in the morning and that my wife will be staying all night there so we can have her transported in the morning. There was no care here. Keep away.
Plantation Bay is wonderful. My mother was a patient and I am very pleased with the nursing and rehab team. The staff is very kind and caring. 5 stars!
Filthy and run down disgusting facility! Poop has been on my mother's toilet for days, all of the walls in the facility have drip marks on them with only god knows what type of fluid. Hospital beds, tables and rooms are all rundown, in need of maintenance or just needs to be replaced. Half the staff is rude, uncaring and barely speak English. Typical overworked and understaffed facility where the bottom line is making maximum investor profit by neglecting everything else including patient care! I hope the state shuts you down.
My mom was sent to plantation bay rehab center in St. Cloud and let me tell you the experience I had . My experience was absolutely wonderful from Cathy in the admission office and Faith in the business office to Maria at the front desk. They always have a warm smile and always say hi . The nurses and all the staff are always friendly and go out of their way to help you with whatever you want or need. The facility is always clean and smells good. The residents all seem very happy and clean. I just can’t say enough about how much my mom and my family loves the whole experience from the front door to the janitor, all the employees are smiling and really seem to love and enjoy their job.
Plantation Bay is a wonderful and caring place. My sister was there for 5 weeks and she is about to enter again for the second time and I am very pleased that we were able to get her a bed. The staff is just wonderful I have spoken to Kathy who is taking care of intakes intakes and Maria who is the receptionist and all the nurses the AIDS the whole staff is just remarkable. I feel very safe and comfortable having my sister there while she needs their help. This place is a blessing.
My mom came to Plantation Bay for rehab following a hospitalization. All the staff were professional and Caring. Nurse Nancy Nurse Darlene and CNA Gracie and Donna Lyn were exceptional caring and compassionate. Thanks to the top rate rehab team she went home stronger than she had been in years. A special thanks to Tom in therapy for keeping her motivated You can tell that the entire Plantation Bay Team really care about what they do!
My mother in law has been in this Rehab facility for a few weeks , and the staff has been very helpful with her progress. This week we attended many amazing events and realized how much the staff cared for their patients, they all laughed and danced while making sure their patients individual needs were taken care of. Decoration, International food and music as well done. Family of room 125a would like to thank the Director and staff for a job well done. We highly recommend this facility to all.
