Unorganized! Well anything to do with Shands is unorganized. Doctor referred my daughter to an OBGYN but they won’t see her until she is 16. Getting them to refer her to somewhere else has been such a nightmare until I gave up and now switching her to another doctor in St Johns County! I will NEVER use this place again

I'm so grateful and blessed to have found this doctor's office. Every issue regarding my health has been addressed within a timely manner each time. Ms. Shaneika Douglas, APRN has provided exceptional services for me on a consistent basis, explaining every issue clearly with me going home without any doubt. I've received numerous phone calls from this office going over my concerns, making sure everything with me is updated and simply showing that they care about my health. I've never experienced such compassion from a doctor's such as this. They even call on the weekends!!! Oh my goodness, I'm truly impressed. You never know what a person is going through in life, the phone call I just received today about my health was surprisingly lengthy and therapeutic. It wasn't rushed...it was needed. I hate that I forgot the young lady's name who called me from her home but she definitely warmed my heart.Thank you, UF Health Family Medicine and Pediatrics at Oakleaf. Had a positive COVID-19 test at home on Monday. Called the office to make an virtual appointment I was told they do not do virtual and next available appointment won’t be until Thursday. Being in the medical profession myself I know you are required to seek treatment for COVID-19 as soon you can. Had I had wanted for the Thursday appt I would of been out my 4 to 5 day window.

My mom has been seeing dr. Mantilla here for years he never sent a refill in for her pain medicine for the month of February the day before he ran out of the office no one was there to call in my mother's medication she called for 2 days no one was responding the people who are taking the calls don't know what they're talkin about telling her all this false information bonding the day the medication was meant to be refilled there was no one there to refill it the nurses yelling at my mom's in the doctor had an emergency but what about her the nurse told her to go to the emergency room for withdrawal treatments we are filing a lawsuit.

I believe they’ve recently changed staff. At least the Pediatrics side has been great to deal with. Dr. Wells is very knowledgeable and takes her time during every visit. Yes, it may take some time in the waiting room but I’ve never been to a Pediatrics office that doesn’t. Staff is always friendly. The only thing is that authorization paperwork has been submitted plenty of times and somehow gets “lost” or is never sent back. Apart from the minor miss-managing we’ve had a good experience. The office is clean, kid friendly and they give treats to the kiddos at the end. If this location is booked you can see other physicians at their other UF locations.

We just had my first child in July. We didn’t pick out a pediatrician prior, and a friend recommended UF. We actually shopped around first, because of the reviews. I don’t want to use this review to discuss why the other places were not for us, but we went to UF and immediately felt like we got great quality care. Dr. Hinz has the perfect personality to work with kids and parents alike. She has fantastic “bedside manner” and I trust her completely and fully with our son. I don’t normally post reviews but it really bothered me that this facility is rated so low. They have gone above and beyond for use each and every visit, phone call, and message.

I am extremely disappointed with service and lack of medical care that I received today. For some reason zoom kept dropping and reconnecting. Therefore, i was not able to receive medical care. I called back a total of 4 times this afternoon and spoke with Terry, Nikita, Myra and Christina who said she would call me back in 15mins. No return call. I was told by the ladies at the answering service that i cannot receive medical care in person because I am covid positive and due to unforseen circumstances i was unable to do a zoom meeting, not sure if it was an issue with my phone or not but either way I being denied medical care. This is absolutely absurd when I am sick I was unable to receive medical care. Last week my husband was covid positive and Dr Webber who is also with UF health was able to see him in person and provide the necessary medication and care to help him cope with the effects of covid. I will be looking for a different PCP one who can see me when I am sick. I am extremely upset and disappointed in the service I received today.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Don't go there! First visit to see Dr. Jose Montilla Crespo's his bedside manner was awful. No eye contact, didn't really care to be there and listen. His office staff are the rudest staff I have ever encountered. They don't return calls and they don't follow through with what they say they will do. This place needs an overhaul on how they run their clinic. If you have any major health concerns or just need support for your basic medical needs this is not the place to get it.

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the front desk staff was nice. The call center said my appointment was 05/01 but scheduled it for 05/02, they were able to work in to be seen. Also the Medical Assistant that worked with Dr. Wells 05/01 was very nice, helpful, and put me at ease just having casual conversation. Dr. Wells however is like a Zombie, she asked questions that I'd already given the answer too. You are a Primary Care provider attempting to tell me that my son's heart medication would be changed or stopped completely without even knowing what he needs it for which will be for the rest of his life. he is 2 months she barely touched him to examine him and kept giving me her suggestion/ diagnosis for specialties that are clearly out of her scope. Definitely won't be returning to her any time soon.

I took my teen daughter to this location after her doctor since birth moved. The scheduling staff was polite, the front desk staff was friendly, and the facility was very clean. It was a please for us to be seen my Dr. Sarah Wells. She was professional and polite, attentive and thorough, and identified a potential issue that my daughter may been dealing with for the past 2 years. I fully recommend Dr. Sarah Wells.
