So irritated with this store right now. My 14 year old daughter went here to sell some jeans and was bullied and accused by a teenage staff of “managers” who accused her of stealing rings. I was literally standing outside the entire time and she didn’t even have any pockets to put rings into. She made it clear to them that she didn’t steal anything and yet they continued to badger her, accuse her and call her a liar and a thief. I went in to ask them what the issue was and they continued the same nonsense. Even worse is the store owner who didn’t even offer an apology. Never once said “Perhaps there was a misunderstanding here.” I offered him to search her, search her bags and pull the camera footage. He decided against all of those options. From now on I’ll buy my daughters old clothes and give them to Goodwill before I ever take her back there. #worststorever
My teen daughters enjoy shopping here for trendy clothes. The prices are fair. I have picked up a couple of Lily dresses new with tags. Not much for adult women, but The store is stocked full. The staff consists majority of young teens with an attitude about helping. A simple request to try on something that is a mannequin is met with the typical eye roll and huff. While ringing up clothes requesting a reusable bag, Their idea of folding is jamming the clothes in a ball new with tags. The store itself is a great way for younger teens and women to find trendy clothes. Last visit we spent $ close to $300 back-to-school shopping. These same clothes would have been $500 at the mall. My daughters enjoy the store which is all that matters if the staff was just nice like in the mall. I have never been able to sell a single item there. Even my daughter's $80 new jeans she wore one school year. Great place to shop. Not to sell.
I went in with a mixture of party and business attire. First time here. I walked in and no one even acknowledged me. Then someone else walked in with a fancy looking bag and they attended to them before me. Once they were done sorting through my clothes they told me they only took the clothes that were none business attire since that is what they look for which I understand. Then this teen made a comment that they only take clothes for teenagers. When In fact they took clothes that aren’t appropriate for teenagers. Those are clothes that I would wear clubbing. I’m in my 20s and I felt like this teen completely insulted me. They gave me $9 for three articles of clothes practically brand new that I could’ve sold online and made more with. Never returning.
I would like to say I'm shocked on the staff's customer service skills but I'm not. Our family enjoys stopping in from time to time. Today my daughter and I brought in some brand name clothes and were told everything was outdated nor not the correct brands so rudely. Probably won't be visiting this location anymore.
I went to Plato‘s closet today to give some clothes. I’m 16 and have very trendy style but tends to buy clothes that don’t fit. Most of the stuff was brand new. I brought a lot of cute shirts pants of all known brands. today they offered me $29 for brand new Michael Kors shoes that go for $280 and two pants that I paid a lot of money for each. I said no to the shoes but yes to the pants then they offered me 9 dollars. no offense to the Woman going through my stuff but she was older and didn’t want to really look through my clothes. Going through their stuff today they had a lot of old clothes that was worn and out of style. do not try to offer clothes you will be disappointed. they take your nice clothes offer you such a low amount then resell it for $30. I don’t want anyone to have the experience like I did. But this needs to change. It was super chaotic in there and staff just sits around and talks and doesn’t do what they need to do it took close to an hour and a half to go through my bin when I was the second one in there and there was at least six or seven staff. concept would be so beneficial if they didn’t scam you. I might be young but I am also an entrepreneur and come from a family of business owners. i know know how prices should go and that wasn’t the way.
Just came into the store today and had an amazing overall experience! Not sure why there are many bad reviews because I had a completely different experience than others which makes me think they must be talking about a different store. Staff greeted me when I entered and when I asked about where to find an item they were very helpful. All of the staff seemed nice enough and were knowledgeable when someone needed info. To others leaving a review, this is a TEEN/YOUNG ADULT store so keep that in mind before you come in if that's not what items your looking for or trying to sell. overall 10/10 experience will be returning soon!
The girls were nice but not experienced in sales. They have no idea what a customer would be looking for outside of their own perspective. I came there to find some work tops and work pants, there is nothing there for women - only young girls so it’s unfortunate. Ladies, not everyone wears crop tops and mom jeans. Some of us lead professional lives and need office attire. Adding that to your selections would help a great deal.
Love shopping and selling my clothes here! They have a great selection and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I always end up finding the cutest items! Definitely worth checking out!
They didn’t even look at what I brought brand new items from the stores they recommend and no one took the time to look at my things. Gas is too expensive to have people leave & come back because they said they are busy. I wasn’t even gone 2 minutes and they texted they were done. It was evident they didn’t even look at my things. I had them placed a certain way so I would know. Don’t waste your time because they aren’t going to even look at your things. Funny thing I posted the items online & sold all of them. More money in my pocket. They are not friendly so save yourself.
wow this place is honestly such a good place to shop at in terms of clothes like it was quite amazing i would have to say. not only this but the employees were absolutely astounding especially lila thank you
