Each day at the Platte County Health Department, we work to keep you and your family healthy. This is achieved through our immunization clinics, innovative programs for women and children, community outreach programs and disease prevention.
The Platte County Health Department offers Primary Care to citizens who are on Medicaid or MC+, underinsured or have no health insurance coverage. Same-day appointments are available for common illnesses, such as respiratory infections and influenza. Women’s Healthcare services, such as birth control, STD testing, well woman exams and breast exams are also available.
The Walk-in Clinics provide a wide range of childhood and adult immunizations, screenings, testing,treatment and other services.
The professionals at the Platte County Health Department are expert resources in Women’s Health, Emergency Planning, Environmental Health, WIC, Nutrition, Health Education and Social Work Services.
