We are a committee that chooses fun and exciting events for on and off campus. Our acronym, F.E.N.T. stands for Films, Entertainment, Novelties and Trips.
Films: As a committee we vote on popular or anticipated films that Plattsburgh State students would like to see for free or a low price. Our on campus films are free, and tickets for off campus films at Cumberland 12 are a discounted price (REALLY CHEAP). Tickets for off campus films can be bought at the ACC Info Desk or online at tickets.plattsburgh.edu.
Entertainment: We bring comedians and other fun entertainment to campus for the student population.
Novelties: The Novelties committee plans fun, free and personalized events that cater to a wide variety of students. These events are hands on. Novelties does two big events, in the fall semester we have Trivia Night, and in the spring we have a Scavenger Hunt. At those two events we give out big prizes to each winning team.
Trips: We vote on fun and exciting trips for the student body to purchase tickets to go on. Every fall semester we have a bus trip to Fright Fest. We also have a variety of trips in the fall and spring semesters. The trips are voted on and planned, and we get a bus load of great people and have a good time.
