Very nice gym and a great recreation center. The gym is not very packed and is extremely reasonably priced. The track is nice for running indoors when it’s cold outside. They also have treadmills and a lot of cardio workout equipment. They have free weights and machines for lifting. There are basketball and new pickle ball courts. Unfortunately they don’t have racquetball courts. There is also no indoor pool. The PG community pool is around the block and is outside, which is my assumption as to why this doesn’t have a pool. Staff has been friendly in my many visits there. It is clean and seemingly well maintained. Definitely a great place to get a workout in!
Been a long time since I visited. The equipment looks like it's well maintained. Best of all: my 4 yo grandson is having a blast in his tumbling class! Thank you to the instructors and the city that makes that class available.
The pickleball courts here are perfect for some daily morning exercise. The lights turn on promptly at 6am, and just when you think you have to play all alone, an army of retired folk show up to liven your morning and school you in the game you thought you knew so well. They really do teach you how to be better at it, too! How are they so good????
Really cool location with a good atmosphere came for a high school football game
Best rec center in the valley. AF feels like a prison and Orem is big and modern, but has a horrible layout for weightlifters and is usually overcrowded. PG is perfect.
Pretty great! Other than the building, most things here seem nice and in good condition. Weights has all the basics plus some. Plenty of bikes and treadmills. The track is kinda interesting, it’s upstairs and circles the building. It’s smaller but great, all the times I’ve gone it hasn’t been too busy.
One of my favorite gyms! I love it there because the staff are so nice and the equipment is good. Also I am proud that they have kept up the LEGO model that stands in the lobby. I had built it for my Eagle Project for the city and it is still there! I definitely recommend this gym!
Love the indoor track for Winter workouts. Spin bikes are very nice quality with power meters and Bluetooth to a heart rate meter. The Stages bikes they have are excellent.
PG Rec is a great place to workout. They offer several classes. Overall there is a lot to do to get a great workout. The only real issue is the Showers. They are filthy!!! Very obvious when the stuff on the floor is never cleared from the showers for weeks. Looks like mold is starting to grow.
Unfortunately they don't have a indoor pool. And the front desk staff may not be the nicest. Maybe it's not the very best rec center or fitness center in the valley but still very very good. That's a good stuff doesn't seem run down
