The Pleasant Grove Volunteer Fire Department Mission:
Our Mission is to protect the citizens of our community from fires, medical emergencies, and other natural or man-made hazards that threaten lives or property. To accomplish our Mission, we will:
Provide our citizens with the knowledge of how to prevent emergencies,
Conduct ourselves in a professional and courteous manner
Keep our equipment ready to safely respond at all times
Require that our members have the desire to serve, the ability to perform, the courage to act, and unwavering character and integrity
Train regularly, recognizing that change is constant, so learning must be continuous
Run our operations as efficiently and safely as possible, Adapt to the situation, no matter what it may be, and give our assistance to our mutual aid fire departments and neighboring communities when needed,
Never compromise our commitment to serve and protect the citizens of our great community. We are dedicated professional volunteers who risk our lives so that others may live. We protect life and property.
