How did the city of Dallas get away with building that unessasary part of scyene road over the tops of graves and make the decision to not relocate the bodies is a heartless act plus the city issued permits to let some building contractor build a gas station on top of grave. That cemetary is a national land mark and over 200 years old. shame on you city of dallas
Horrible job picking up and spreading dirt after weeks of calling trying to find a solution! If I could upload the pictures I took the other day you all would see how bad it really looked. Horrible job! About a year ago they buried someone in one of my burial plats
The cemetery personnel were very helpful in resolving a deed issue; very professional. I love the historical marker.
It is supposed to be a historical cemetery where the original Dallas settler was buried, but you wouldn't get that from looking at the cemetery now. Now it reminds me of Mardi Gras. There's lots of tacky grave adornments which I've never seen in any cemetery. I don't see how you could pass the cemetery off as "historical" in its present state.
