It's always a nice experience at Pleasure Cove. The Lake has had it's ups and downs with camping but the staff has absolutely become a welcoming bonus to the adventure. They really go out of their way to make you feel safe and welcomed. The boat slips are a nice thing to have available when staying over night. Fire season is here and fires are for cooking only so be safe please.
Staff is much better this year. The store is very well done. Gas prices at the dock are very reasonable. The water at the cabins smells very strongly of sulfur though.
Don't waste your time with any other marina in the area! Pleasure cove has absolute all stars working for them. To start off the the check in was smooth and efficient. Adreana in the office was super friendly and got us on the water quick. Then when my boat trim stopped working the deckhand Darin went out of his way and helped us saving me thousands of dollars in the process. I really couldn't recommend this place enough 10 out of 10 rating.
Excellent stay, we brought our boat for the first time here and tried fishing for bass and catfish with no luck. Weather was beautiful, water conditions were great and it was 61 degrees in some spo, so not sure why no bass bites but it’s no big deal. We’ll be back before the season is up. Nice wide launch area with two big lanes
We love Pleasure Cove! One of our favorite places year after year! The staff is super nice, and having a store onsite is so helpful and we were able to rent jet skis. We usually stay in the cabins with great AC, but enjoyed the RV site this time with water and power. Can’t wait to visit again!
We just had our first weekend out here. We camped with friends who had a boat and had a blast out on the Lake. We tent camp and site 152 was great! Lots of shade and decent distance from other campsites. Other campers were respectful, low noise, and patrol driving around to keep it safe. I will say though that if you don't have a boat or plan on renting one then there are probably better places for you. There isn't really a sandy beach or good place to play in the water close to the campsite. If you're boating, then we highly recommend it! And Tara at the boat shop was incredibly helpful!
The location is great and quiet. The Lake is beautiful and there is a ramp for the boats. We rented a Cabin that is supposed to be for 4 people. It was quite expensive $140 for such a small place. There's only a small fridge a microwave inside. No plates nor silverware. They have disposable ones at the shop but it was already closed when we came back from the Lake.
The Staff Friendly and courteous entrance/store. Camp area well kept very clean, restrooms/showers A+, easy destination to lake and marina dock. Note: area lot #100 where possible beach area can evolve by adding soft beach sand/gravel, great fishing spot. roads in camp grounds possible water down to keep dust smoke.
Awesome camping spot with great view Staff made sure we had enough fire wood for the two days we were here even better Vivian at the store gave us great recommendations and was very helpful with all our questions all around good feel family friendly environment can’t wait to come back!!!!!
Wanna say thank you to Vivian for being such an pleasant and hospitable host at the boat rental store. We had such a lovely time boating and tubing. Will definitely be back to visit again in the future! And for the gentleman at the marina, thanks for accommodating us ! Thanks again, Demetri and Aaron.
