They helped me even though I came in towards closing and fully took care of my issue. I was extremely pleased with how the branch banker Kay handled my issue. Very happy with the service.
Came in to close accounts due to lack of service, horrible website problem and rude tellers. Ibe been with onc fir 31 years. Closed out acct in newton no problem but not Hackettstown. Teller asked me if i had appt. No. She could not close my account from the window however the Branch Newton had no problem doing that. She referred me to a bank representative and told me I had to wait. She would not give me a time on how long wait was. Keep in mind there was only one other person in the bank at the time and they came in after me. I'm standing there waiting the gentleman who came in after me had a problem with his debit card the branch manager took him ahead of me. In fact she just ignored me. When I questioned her she literally slammed the door in my face to her office and that is why I am closing my accounts. the branch manager's name is Alicia i think because i asked for her name and was told take a card. she is beyond rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and has no customer skills. I walked out of the branch I. Went to another branch and I closed my account within 10 minutes at the teller's window. Incredulously rude and they dont care as u can see from the reviews.
If I could give negative stars I would. The woman in the office on the right, 2nd office in was snappy, rude, and downright belligerent. “Oh I can’t do that” and slamming the paperwork and my card down. Then she had the gall to say I was out of control when I asked her to be a little kinder to me who doesn’t understand the bank policies likes she does. I came to close my account because of the awful and unclear website and mobile app. I guess PNC doesn’t care about customer service and it shows not just in their technical products but their people too. Never had such an awful experience with a bank. Never again.
I’m not sure if it is the bank or this branch. I went in to pay off my car loan with a check from another bank. I was told it would be cleared the next day and then I could pay it. Pnc held the loan. I asked if I could get a letter saying it was paid off being I was buying another car. I was told no problem. The next day the money showed up in my account. I went to the branch to pay it and was told the money wasn’t “really “ there. Come back tomorrow. I told them I couldn’t the car was being held for me and I was picking it up. They made no effort to help me or care even though they gave me the WRONG information and the money was showing up. The next day I went to another branch paid it off. I asked for a letter and was told they couldn’t do it and it would come when my title did. They told me I should never been told I could get a letter. The loan also ending up costing me few dollars more due to interest. A few weeks later I need something notarized. I called and explained what I needed. The lady told me she be there till 6 pm. I went down to the bank. Got the nan that gave me the wrong information about my car loan. He took the paper came back and said this could not be notarized. They didn’t do things related to wills even though I told them in the phone what it was. Another wasted trip. Today I am pulling my IRA and putting it in another bank. This bank or branch has no idea what they are doing
Can you please fix yours online hours i wasted a significant amount of time driving there. In addition, the way PNC has accounts set up, you cannot add two last names with a space between. Everyone from central and south America has two last names so it is not inclusive.
After 25 yrs banking with PNC i am closing my accounts since recently moving to hackettstown. The manager is extremely rude and unhelpful. I'll be calling pnc corporate hq to complain as well. Unprofessional and condescending.
I went here to open an account and their branch banker was so great! Cristian was very helpful, kind and informative. He explained everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this branch. Quick service and very efficient.
Friendly and quick service. Lines aren't usually long and there are several tellers to take care of you.
