This is small place with limited seating. The lady on the front greeted me very politely and the customer service was excellent. I got the half chicken with rice and plantains. The food taste was good. The sauces they gave were really good. Be careful the jalepeno sauce was too spicy.

This place was a lot better before. I took lunch and couldn’t finish eating.  Food was old or from previous day and without taste. This Yuca was fried few times before I guess

This is a great restaurant! Charcoal Chicken was tasty, not too salty and well seasoned rice and beans were tasty and the fried plantains was sweet. *Overall the food was not satly at all* They have great costumer service and food. The lady at the front desk was very nice and made sure we were well taking care of. This is a nice place to hangout and eat with friends.

The food is really good. The price is cheap. It's worth the money. The service is good too. The stuffs are helpful and friendly. Meal usually comes with two sides and a drink. The meal is worth it. The chicken tastes amazing. Internal decor is not fancy, but clean. They have sodas, but no drinks like horchata. I would definitely recommend coming here. It's even cheap for students. I would recommend getting food from here rather than paying $12-15 for a meal at burger palace or pho or any other places.

Very good food. I eat here often -- I usually get chicken with Yucca fries and plaintains, but I've tried the other sides too and they're all good. The folks who work there are always very nice.  Food is available fast, and it's close to campus.

I can't understand how they have very few reviews and above 4.5 stars. The chicken has no taste at all. Staffs are nice but food is bland. Sauces are thecworst I ever had. There are many chicken places, try other places. Not going back.

Probably the best charcoal chicken in the area.  The portion servings are are really great for the cost.  The service is very quick. The only drawback I found was that online orders weren't being taken On Grubhub/yelp at least as of this moment.  Hopefully that could get fixed. Other than that, this place is a must try for chicken lovers.

I went 6/20/17 and didn't have enough money to buy the chicken, only the mixed vegetables.  The owner wanted me to try the chicken so he gave me a quarter of chicken, with mixed vegetables and plantains.  Charcoal chicken is my favorite and as soon as I took my first bite, POH-YO became my spot!  So juicy, flavorful, and moist, the mixed vegetables where delicious and plantains where extraordinary!  I think they just opened but his place is amazing and I imagine will soon become a prime destination for great chicken in the future!

I stopped in the liquor store to grab some beer and the smell of the charcoal brought me inside.         The chicken is an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10!       Met the owner who was very engaging and was happy to serve you.  I will be back!    Dont miss out on a great meal.

I saw it had 5 star rating and decided to give it a chance. When I got there I asked the girl why they have 5 star, may be they are nice people or is it the food?  But by the time I finished eating, I had my answers. It’s the best charcoal chicken place around here with FREE soda
