Response time of over 30 minutes to a stranger parked in my driveway. The guy left after about 20 minutes. Yeah, nothing to see here. Just a sketchy dude parked in not his driveway for over 20 minutes. Civilians are told to call the police first, and not approach/confront people breaking the law. I wonder how long it would take a cop to approach a stranger parked in their driveway. Must be nice to flash a badge and someone gets hauled off for trespassing. Great job, boys & girls. Really earning that paycheck.
Seems this department lacks training for basic acceptance and understanding of people from other countries. I hope they take this review as constructive criticism and work on their approach to civilians. I saw a hideous video of one of their officers, [forgettable first name] Moseley. He seems to be a troubled man and needs to become a bit more cultured. He is a bad look for your department and seems to be unfit to continue to be a police officer.
No experience with you. Just wanted to give two thumbs way up to Ofc Matthew Brongel for just being a decent thoughtful guy. Volunteers for charity and delivered Taco Bell. He doesn’t have to do any of that to protect and server but it helps the police image in the community.
The reason I gave 5 stars isn't because I trust police, everyone of them except maybe 3 were typical cop's not good cop's, faith is gone but i just accumulated a ounce of trust back because of Matthew brongel I seen on YouTube, I NEVER SEEN A COP LIKE THAT but I'm glad he exists, he didn't help that guy because he had to meaning he didn't say the usual "I don't care maybe you shouldn't have broken the law" he did it because that's who he is, he need's to be in charge of community trust repair by the president
I was assaulted by a Repetitive Abuser.. who enjoys beating up on women he has records with other females My only regret, not calling 911 cause I didn't want that criminal to loose his job and came back to my state NYC As soon as I came home and spoke to my doctors, I built up the courage to call this station. The most compassionate officer helped me out. The DAs sucked by the way. Even though I had several pictures and his texts, they dismissed the case. My children witnessed his attack, which he also tends to enjoy because that's How he believes respect is gained. Am becoming my own advocate and will hopefully travel to meet and thank the police officer who took my report. And place a Motion to Seminole county He met the individual and saw Himself, how my evidence and his claim Proved to the police officer How it was Self defense. Now almost a year after, am still suffering from the injuries. Found out, that he was caught showing porn to a 10yr old girl. The Oviedo police department has more common sense than the D.As out there. Who will only defend you if you have $$ to pay them, not defending Even with proof in your hand
Always working against you. Sit in the median with High Beams on facing traffic so you cant even see the road. And dont try to slow down to see what car number it is to report. Or you get pulled over for policing the Police. So much for "For the People". And my mother reported a stolen phone and tried to follow up and they just ignore all efforts. Seminole County Sheriff needs to run the City of Oviedo. Not these civilians.
Seminole county really needs to reform these guys, too much funding and too many employees for a city that for the most part has a lot less crime than most of the other surrounding cities, OVPD really can’t find anything to do other than harass working tax payers who pay there salaries. If you can’t find any criminals why not spend your time helping the kids in the community? Why not go do something productive for all the tax payers in this city that pay your salaries? Too many of you at your department with nothing to do? Well I think it’s time for a reform on how funding is being spent by this department
Gave me 9 months of $50 tickets and over $600 more in payments, not to mention what I had to pay my lawyer... ALL FOR BEING PULLED OVER AND GIVEN A WRITTEN ARREST FOR MARIJUANA WHICH I AM ****LEGALLY**** PRESCRIBED BY A DOCTOR. I have a medical card and everything, but they don't care. Best part is, they pulled me over for a broken license plate light and searched my car through intimidating tactics. I'm a 22 year old girl....
Oviedo Police Department helps keep our facility safe! The officers are always courteous, respectful, and willing to go the extra mile for those they protect. We LOVE Oviedo PD!
I called the PD and they came in less than 10 minutes. Thank you so much for your help in instructing the neighbor about the City of Oviedo quiet times. Thanks to you I could sleep and the nieghbor learned a lesson.
