Officer Snyder is an ANGEL in disguise! I can not believe how fast he got here and how easily he helped out my fiancee when she locked her inhaler in the car. Extremely courteous and by far the most polite and professional person ive ever talked to this late in the night! I honestly wish him all the best in his career and hope they promote him soon.
I was out of town visiting for my birthday week and snuck out for the morning to fish by Pitt St Bridge as suggested by locals while my wife and kids slept in. Unfamiliar of the area and on my way back, I was confused as to why Officer M Crispell had pulled me over after I had come to a 4 way stop as I drove past him sitting in a white unmarked car off the side of the road claiming I "had did a rolling stop." Gave me zero tolerance nor reasonable explanation around what happened, was rude, and showed no hospitality around someone who was genuinely trying to cooperate with the law and being new in the area. You can tell the officer wasn't there to listen nor tried to be rationale as he disregarded everything I said and said "see you in court," so I stopped attempting as I didn't want to accidentally aggravate him into accusing me of something else. Spoke to a few locals after the incident and many warned me about the policing in the area. Said it's common for out of state license plates or tourists to get pulled over in Mt. Pleasant area and that petty tickets are often given, so be careful and try to never even give them even a slightest reason to pull you over. Have to say it ruined my experience of such a beautiful area. Really hoping I wasn't racially targeted also. Tip of advice and lesson learned, times like this when traveling to a new area I really wished I had brought my dash cam with me so I'd have my own evidence. Very unfortunate that it seems some of these reviews share similar experiences so I felt it was necessary to at least log them to warn others.
If you want to feel like you are living in the 1800s go talk to one of these cops! Great when the people who are sworn to protect you don’t know the laws. Seems like there are a lot of future security guards!
Officer Andrew H. Rowell wrote up our account of a traffic incident that caused damage to my wifes car. He was very professional, courteous, pleasant and smiling. He truly helped remove the stress caused by being run into a curb to avoid a collision with the white Cherokee. He demonstrated the highest standard of conduct. Thank you for your help. After having been intimidated and harassed by several co-workers, then wrongfully terminated; an Officer accompanied me as an impartial observer to my former place of employment so that I could collect my property and wages owed. This is always a good idea if you can foresee that there may be potential for tension and/or conflict - both parties will think twice about attempting to instigate. Literally known as "Keeping the Peace". I don't remember his name though...blonde guy in his twenties, super nice.
I don't even know where to begin. These guys violated my Miranda rights, as well as to seek further reason to detain me. As the call was about a 3rd party causing domestic violence in the residence, due to overdose of a synthetic drug. Instead of arresting them, they arrested me. They got to go off in a ambulance while I rode in the back of a cop car... As I was not responsible for the individual for taking the substance. Why would I make someone take something when they already intend to take it themselves anyway? First time offense. But they ruined my life, and humiliated me. Absolute disgrace to police and definitely corrupt. The sergeant had the audacity to grin and chuckle at my hearing and demanded an apology for "lying", when I gave them nothing but the truth. It baffles me to what goes through these officer's minds and how they feel afterwards or if they don't at all. This is what's wrong with policing today, and it continues to grow corrupt. It's sad when most of your own community dislikes you....
..PFC French,PFC Bauer,SPO Walters...especially PFC Corcoran...you saved my life, and not only my life but also that of the accused..this is how the American police work..it's at the Top level,at least my experience...Thank you so much
Very professional agency. All interactions with them have showed kindness, courtesy, and professionalism. Department cares for its citizens.
No Victim, No Crime aka Going 5MPH over the "law" especially at night when three-lane highway 17 is completely empty all around should not result in intimidations and fines. Just let people go about their business!
These guys have been awesome when I have needed them. They are professional. They also care about their community and those who live in it. Thank you for all the help you give us and God speed for your safety!
