Polk County School Board Employment Health Clinic

It use to be an Amazing service, now they do not take walk in forcing us to have a reliable doctor's or nurse care givers some where else. Still the purpose of these clinics were to created a welcoming and safe place for all Polk County Employees. I just suggest to be careful who is working in your receptionist places and how they treat orders.

This use to be an awesome place but with this calling system is crazy. They tell you to call early when you do they keep you on hold for over 30 min just to tell you they will schedule you a zoom visit.Only good thing is my Dr.Don.

HORRIBLE service! Hasn’t been the same since Carol left! The staff have bad attitudes and today I had an appt with Abigail at 10:40 and I arrived at 10:49 thinking there would be a 15 min grace period and she didn’t attend me because she was “booked” mind you there was no one in the parking lot and no one in the waiting room and I was just going for results! I literally wasted all my gas going there for no reason. Welch really needs to get on top of her staff because everyone that goes there that I talk too, is unhappy and unsatisfied. Now I understand why everyone kept telling me to go to the Lakeland office. I should have listened!

Only for Polk County Public Schools employees, and is free to all employees, substitute, part time, and full time. The clinic is always clean, and the staff are awesome. They have a lab on site. There is also another employee health clinic in Lakeland.

This place needs a over haul. They have you on hold for over 30 minutes or more. The wait time is utterly ridiculous. They claim they stay booked.

Appointment with massage therapist today. She was amazing. Very personable and knowledgeable. Worth the 40 minute drive.

They set you up with appointment then when you arrive for appointment on time they make you sit for an hour or more until THEY get ready for you. Very sorry service!

Wonderful clinic for employees with little if any costs at all. Thank you Polk county school Dept.
