The Dentist here, Dr. Lana is a wonderful dentist, very professional too. I came here from an absolutely horrible dentist, and she had fixed one of my terrible cavities. Was very gentle and very careful as well. I had explained to her my prior "dental visits" and the anxiety it has caused me. It was a night and day difference! She was obviously very skilled and i had literally no pain while under her care. I hope to be treated by her again in the future! Yes this is a real review
Update: Giving full 5 stars. At my last visit, Dr Cantone and her assistant were very kind and put my interests first when I had questions about my dental plan. What a nice group of people, from the moment I walked in the door until I sat down with the dentist. I truly mean it. Not sure where some of these other complaints are coming from. Both my visits have been fantastic. Would definitely recommend!
This doctors office use to be a good office, there are a lot of people that work there that I do like and I feel are great at doing their jobs however the doctor there that the office refers to as Emma, is by far the worst doctor I have ever in 33 years came across... First I had gone in three or four times for the same issue never once did she help me. Then my husband went it and what she said to him is absolutely un called for. I wouldn't let her treat my pet turtle. She should be no means be a doctor. I guess she is okay to diagnose a cold, but that is about it. I ended up going to see a new doctor and come to find out I have had a problem it was more than a virus. Instead of her taking the time to really listen she just pushed it off.. I can honestly say if you are thinking about using this doctors office you may want to find some where else to go.
Had Covid and it was lingering, I was on day 10, still had fevers, horribly painful cough, and really bad sinus pain and pressure. I called them up, they got me in virtually the same day and Dr. Canario listened to my concerns and provided me with some amazing care! Great experience, glad your my primary!!
TERRIBLE COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, NO BEDSIDE MANNER AT ALL!! We went exactly one time and you could not pay me to ever go back there and deal with that awful woman, the dentist. I heard there was a "family" dentist in Port Byron so I thought I would get in down there and not have such a long ride out to our children's dentist in Fulton. Everything about it was terrible from the beginning . I made the appt for my 7 yr old daughter, for 8 a.m. The doors to the building were locked when we arrived, we waited 10-15 mins for someone to pull in and unlock the doors, the receptionist apparently. She was so incompetent it's a hard to believe she has a job at all. Then we are told that the dentist is not a pediatric dentist but she will, quote, "do whatever work she's comfortable with". This dentist was the most awful woman. The way she spoke to me, I have NEVER in my life had a professional person, talk to me like that. Everything she said was in a condescending tone, like she was scolding me and then she turned it on my child. It took everything I had in me not to take my child right out of that chair and walk out. I couldn't believe this woman. I was so angry when I left that place, I will NEVER be going back there. If they would have told me over the phone that this woman was not even a pediatric dentist I would not have even wasted my time. I will gladly keep our dentist at McCue Dental in Fulton and drive an hour each way. WORST DENTIST EVER!!!
Seems to be going down hill very fast.. first the dentist yelled at me for not keeping the same dentist when i go to the same place and call the same number everytime i have a apt if he wanted me to keep the dame doctor maybe his nurse's should schedule thier patients right. Then they called me 20 mins before my scheduled apt to cancel if i have to give u a 24 hour notice to cancel my apt they should have to follow the same rules. Time to start looking for a new dentist. Very unprofessional
Nurse named Christina is very nice! Although the Indian woman dentist is very off putting and rude. Kept calling me “lady” instead of my name which was so unprofessional. Just made me feel very uncomfortable and not welcoming
Port Byron community health is not fit for animals let alone people , my husband was there 2 Monday's in a row , the first Monday was a appointment, they couldn't get blood drawn, apparently they don't know how to do that , he had told the NP that he was congested, no big deal to the NP, went yesterday morning for them to try once again , it took some time for the MA to get his blood drawn , told her on his way to the exam room he had alot of congestion, she said to him well, your only here for a blood draw, she did go talk with the NP, mind you there was no one there other than my husband it was 8:30 am , the NP would not come in to see my husband, told the MA to get rest take a decongestants, which he had been doing for two days already, so out the door we went , we went to urgent care, he has a upper respiratory infection. They are either lazy or stupid or both. Also if you call when you are sick they tell you to go to urgent care, they never have openings, what kind of health care is that ?
I called to set up an appointment. I told the girl what was going on and that I needed some teeth taken out and she burst out laughing after I told her all the problems I have been having and then put me on hold. Another girl picks up and I am infuriated and She is trying to apologize for her and I said no put her back on the phone. Apparently a co-worker whispered something in her ear she thought was funny. They are all very unproffessional. So I am not going to be ever making an appointment there.
Nothing but lies and after months of them telling us its poor circulation she goes to physical therapy and they tell her to go right to the ER she has a blood clot. Now after 8 months on blood thinners we are suppose to go to a vascular doctor. 5 weeks later and still awaiting a referral for a specialist. Call the specialist and they haven't heard anything from the clinic. This place is the biggest joke around and they shouldn't allow them to continue treating patients.
