Port Washington Police Department

Port Outdoors runs from 5pm-10pm, and yet it’s 20 minutes past 10 and they won’t allow anyone on Main Street. When a kid asked if They could go home, officer on the bike, Drew Haagensan threatened to give him a summons for “moving cones” and proceeded to tell the kid that “I don’t work in customer service, I’m a police officer” Last I checked, ALL police officers work IN the public, FOR the public that’s why they are considered Public Servants… Key Advice: Retrain/reprimand that officer as NO ONE should be treated with such disrespect in todays day and age

I want to thank the Port Washington police department for coming to my rescue tonight, i locked my keys in my while it was running, first time that ever happened to me didn't know what i was going to do until my co-worker suggested i dialed 911 so i did, within 15 minutes a very nice officer came out to help me, i want to thank him again but regretfully i didn't get his name . More than welcomed to visit 1 police plaza NYPD. We met some great Officers today

This is an awesome department. Really nice officers and quick response. Great neighborhood! Awesome PD!!
