Portillo's

Do not purchase a large anything. They have never once filled the container when I purchase up charged items. The salad was given to me in a bag with the container on its side and leaking into the plastic bag and then of course onto my car’s upholstery. Everything is smashed and not because of the horrendous stacking job. Portillo is just another trash company feeding slop to the pig masses.

We came to try the beef sandwich. And did, it was amazing! If you haven't tried it you need to. My husband says it's a bucket list item. You should have it dipped in the gravy. Great customer service. When we got there it seemed really busy but we got our food fast and plenty of seats. Very clean. Wish we had one in VA.Food: 5/5

Great - always warm food. Despite having some of THE LONGEST lines in the whole entire area, they still manage to get the customers through the lines quicker then a lot of other fast food restaurants near by. Great employees, and a wide selection of a menu.Food: 5/5

Really nice Portillo's. I can't imagine ordering a vegan hot dog though, especially Chicago style. It's already covered in vegetables :Food: 5/5

This was a real treat. I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and found a fabulous place for a great meal. I was greeted by Kate and she was awesome. I had the Chicago hot dog and it was fantastic. I would definitely be back in this place again.

Great spot lots of parking. A bit disappointed I ordered a beef and sausage but I guess the lady didn't hear me well and omitted the sausage part. Onion rings were golden crispy. Dipping gravy was on point. I will definitely be back to try the sausage and hotdogs.

I moved to Georgia after I retired, my home will always be Chicago ,not only because my family is still on Illinois but so is Portillo's. I always take at least 5 or 6 Italian beef sandwiches back. They were very understanding that I was taking these sandwiches on a plane so they were happy to double wrap them and put them in plastic .

Chicago is known for 3 things: Italian Beef, Hotdogs and Pizza. If you want the first two, come to Portillo's. The Italian beef and sausage is everything you could want out of a sandwich and the onion rings have just the right amount of breading on them. I have also learned recently that in addition to dry, dipped or regular, you can get au jus on the side for dipping your sandwich in so that it's not quite as messy. If you're stopping in for the first time, definitely try the should-be-world-famous chocolate cake. It is unlike anything you've ever had and you'll want to take one with you to go and you can! They'll even take a piece and blend it with ice cream for a chocolate cake shake if you want. These also come in lemon and strawberry lemon varieties, though these tend to be seasonal. Do not be afraid of the 25 cars that you always see in the drive through line. Portillo's has some of the fastest line workers I've ever seen and will get you through very quickly though it is always a good thing to check your bags before driving off!. You should be encouraged by the sheer number of people that eat here on a daily basis.

The plant based hot dog is a great addition. Yummy cheese fries, awesome burgers, great Italian beef and the best fast food hot dogs on the business.Food: 5/5
