At Post-Chemo Hair Care, our hair systems are far superior to traditional wigs. Our hair systems are completely natural and made from 100% human hair, which gives it the quality and look of your own hair. Termed cranial prosthesis, our systems attach directly to the scalp, and remain in place for up to two weeks until removed and re-applied. The application is done in your home by our licensed stylist. The hair system will remain firmly attached during daily activities such as sleeping, showering, and exercise. Our special technique of attaching one or two strands of hair to a lace base, results in a multi-directional hair style that moves and flows as if it were your own hair. The lace base is attached directly to the scalp with very thin tape and waterproof glue. All of our systems are handmade, utilizing the highest quality of AAA grade Remy hair. We use only hair that has never been chemically treated or altered in any way. At Post-Chemo Hair Care we will assist you in getting a prescription for “cranial prosthesis.” Most insurance companies will cover some of the cost, and in some cases all of the cost.
