Post Office

While I have only ever conducted regular transactions at this post office-like mailing packages and buying stamps- the people who work here have been very nice and professional. I have never seen the employees be rude much less make fun of anyone. I do know that you must make an appointment to submit passport items because every person I have ever overheard doing passport related things has ALWAYS had an appointment. So don't take it personally when being told you need an appointment. A lot of their procedures changed with covid and cutbacks, so best practice is to check the webpage or call and ask before showing up. Only complaint I have is the removal of the stamp machine from the area where the P.O. boxes are. It always seems like when I need just one stamp, the line will be long. But not a reason to avoid this location.

I wish there was option for no star. This place is full of uneducated and unprofessional people.I went to this location to submit application for passport renewal. The Asian lady on the front counter told me to make appointment to submit it although few days ago she helped my brother with submitting application without any appointment. When I went back with my brother she refused to recognize him and told she doesn’t help with passport process you have to see clerk for passport related information. Are you for REAL! We waited there to see clerk outside his office. While we were sitting there this Asian lady with another black female talking and laughing really loud making fun of us. and when he opened the door she was already there in his office and this person name saadat was really rude and refused to talk us don’t know what she told him.I have never came across with this type of people and mentality in my whole life. Just because she was not feeling like to assist us she done all this.

I wish I could give no stars. It's one mess up after another with downtown lodi location... They lost 9 packages that were for my daughter, they were last seen with the carrier and no one knows anything. My carrier is holding on to my mail, didn't notify me and didn't leave it at the location like she should have. So how am I supposed to get it? If I didn't call I would think I had no mail. Horrible service everyone.

This post office I only have good experiences. They get crowded and some days we have to wait longer but most people working here are nice.

it's terrible service , they don't answer calls i called over 30 times , they said they would be back in 20 mins he never came back

Phone line just rings off the hook. I tried calling five times. It’s a joke. Worthless place.
