As the voluntary caretaker of the Mt. Washington Cemetery which abuts the Mt. Washington Post Office, we are used to all the noise that comes from the post office, but I am beyond frustrated with two events that have happened in the past two days. Right now, a family is having a memorial service for their loved one who was just buried in the cemetery. It is impossible to hear anything anyone says. An incredibly loud siren has been continuously sounding on a post office vehicle in their parking lot since last night and there is no way to reach anyone. There is no one in the building, no Cincinnati Post Office locations are open, and the phone system doesn't allow you to leave a message. Two days ago, a huge, loud Ryder rental truck which is used to bring mail to the post office idled for over an hour in 96 degree heat within 50 feet of a memorial service for a couple that died 50 years ago on the same day. The family wanted to film the event, but the truck drowned out everything. I finally went over to talk to the truck driver. He had arrived an hour earlier than his appointment time and was idling for an hour so he could sit in the truck's air-conditioning. Irresponsibility on the part of the post office is making it impossible for us to offer a peaceful place for people to have a memorial service for their loved ones buried in the cemetery.
0/100 I’d give negative stars if I could. Don’t order packages or parcels that run through usps delivery. Half the time they don’t show up amd say they are delivered. Place needs new management and new everything cause right now they don’t apparently can’t do the job they are paid to do. Keep telling me my package was delivered. Alright, then where is it cause it’s not in my mailbox not on the porch so where?!
Terrible! They just don't deliver our packages. We have to call them and ask what is going on. I suspect that they also don't distribute our mail every day as they should. I have never seen anything like it. It is a shame.
Great service. I had some issues with packages not being delivered and forwarded to an address I never lived at. Annette was beyond helpful and her demeanor on the phone was so funny and kind. She definitely went above and beyond, I hope to get her assistance every time in at the post office! Thank you Annette
wish i could give 0 stars.. literally the worst post office i have ever dealt with. They have lost between 10-20 of my packages and I have only lived here for 6 months. They are not helpful when you call to ask about the missing packages. All they say is "our system says that it was delivered, so it was." You would think after the second missing package they would make sure that it wouldn't happen again but nope. I am livid.
Great service. Trying to track down a package...the online tracking is NOT good or accurate.
Everytime I called with questions about my shipment of chicks arriving everyone was very helpful. The day they were shipped out they didn't get scanned in. Sonia was extremely helpful in getting the matter solved. I called the company and they confirmed they had been shipped but accidentally not scanned in. No worries things happen. Sonia hand delivered them to my house when they arrived!
The people working in this Post Office are knowledgeable, patient, well-trained, neighborly-friendly, and efficient. They are pro-active. I pass up locations of other Post Offices or leave the office in a rush in order to get here to do my business by closing time. I use all kinds of services, everything from passports to overseas packages to certified mail. They also are patient and kind with those who don't use the Post Office much and the disabled and elderly--a real positive force in the Mt. Washington community. Let's help them keep it that way!
Not very happy with the blatant lack of delivery. I have a premature baby and one child with special needs and several times I have not received important papers and have been penalized for no shows of extreme important appointments, late fees, etc. Delivering mail is a job, receiving mail is a right held by all American citizens etc. If you can’t or won’t do your job, then resign and let someone else who wants a job to fill the position. Also note that screwing with someone’s mail including lame excuses is a federal offense. If this keeps happening I will file a report & work my way up if need be. This is unacceptable from a United States Postal Office. Get it together. Can’t keep using the same excuses.
LIVID! I noticed my mail stopped coming, it was about 7 days after it had stopped. I called they told me it was a dog issue and i am able to come pick up my mail. I get there and there is a letter i NEVER got dated SEVEN DAYS previously saying my mail service has been suspended due to my dog trying to attack the carrier. I guess they didnt realize it was all caught on my security cameras and the HAPPY WAGGING DOG was not being harmful at all in any way. I swear to god ill sue im so ANGRY, my wedding is in 3 weeks and there was wedding stuff undelivered AND VERY TIME SENSITIVE MAIL. Not my fault this carrier has a va**** and is afraid of my HAPPY dog.
