Post Office-Sarasota Carrier Annex

The sign located inside says that it is not a Postal Retail Service location. The only thing is that you will see this sign only after you come to the address. Also, upon arriving you will see a large sign "Customer Parking" but the gates are closed. Another sign shows the schedule but even though you arrive during the bus.hours all doors are closed and there's no way to catch anyone to talk. Mysterious place.

I called at 3:55pm a lady answered the phone halfway through our conversation she said please hold. I waited for 20 minutes untill I realized they just left the office. Very lazy employees that need to be fired or have a disciplinary action taken. NO ONE CARES ABOUT THEIR JOB THERE!

My Mail Is delivered by this office. My mail man is a knucklehead. Does not respond when you try to talk to him- Jams mail in to the mailbox and leaves mail out in the rain. At least 1x per week I get my neighbors mail. Very Careless . Not sure why he was hired? The office is not full service. Its too bad As this would be a great spot for a full service PO. The employees are miserable and do not like to help public. they Keep Window Door Closed - you have to ring doorbell for them to open it. Not once have they been bothered to crack a smile or be pleasant . The Mailbox outside is often jammed. Would it hurt to add another mail box or 2? I regret that this is my main branch and wish I had a choice to switch.

Kathy, the supervisor, was very helpful on the phone providing me information on a package I had mailed to my temporary address. She went back and checked the carrier's area to see if he might be holding the package until the vacancy card was removed in the box. I don't know if I'll get my package but she gave me all the information she could. I appreciated her great attitude. It's the way all postal employees should be and many are.

One of my packages got delayed by many days however other branches and general USPS customer care wouldnt tell me anything I didnt already know. Most of them either redirected me to another branch to deal with it, had an hour long hold time, or simply wouldnt answer at all. It is a very expensive shipment and requires a signature so I NEEDED to be informed of the delivery date. When all else failed I called this location 20 minutes after they had closed and some guy named Justin answered, took my tracking number, and enformed me of its exact delivery date. It was easy, fast, and respectful. Thanks my man.

horrible and unorganized. someone stole my package in this office and I have not received any payment for my property or any answers of what they will do about it I have filed for a missing claim a couple times now and am told I will get a call back after they investigate and I have not since july 11 . I feel like they should have top security three the mailing office and I now realize I can't trust expensive items to be shipped threw usps and threw this office . managers should get stricter with the employee's
