This is the friendliest USPS I have ever experienced! They were very helpful navigating a PO box for me and have been awesome with all my Amazon deliveries. Just very caring and authentic service. I look forward to seeing their smiles every visit.
Extremely unprofessional and lazy mail carriers. Throws my packages on the porch or just sets them by the mailbox. Even after complaining multiple times.
The Wright City Post Office is great as long as you don’t expect to receive anything through the US Postal Service. That is to say I refuse to purchase any item over about 6” x 6” x 6” from any seller who sends through USPS as it is unlikely that the package will ever be delivered, or in the event that we do receive it, it requires multiple attempts to collect from the post office, and is almost certainly damaged.
PSA: DO NOT GET IMPORTANT PACKAGES, NO MATTER THE SIZE SHIPPED TO HERE! I have missed important things, like medicine, because they don't want to deliver packages to me. It defeats the purpose of mailing them if I still have to go pick them up. Note- we have a spot for packages that's locked that they can use
Doesn’t even attempt to deliver packages from Amazon. I literally watched from my office window as he pulled up, put in the “sorry we missed you” note, and drove away. Dude. People have ring doorbells and windows - just stop!
Another example of a FAILED government section. If I did my job this poorly I’d be homeless. They mark a package “ delivered “ to help their numbers and then deliver it in the next couple of days . So shady
I'm not happy at all with the level of service this office has. If I order anything bigger then an envelope it's never even put on the truck or attempted for delivery. That's coming from the post masters quote. Because the employees are using their own trucks and have no room for larger packages. Yet the service to deliver has been paid for! I work two jobs and can't get there to pick up packages before they close. This is Crap service. Do what your damn well paid for or close your doors and let FedEx , ups or another service handle it correctly. Stop making the customer do what your getting paid to do! I'm fed up with this. I've lived here since 1998 and it's only gotten worse.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst post office I've ever dealt with in my almost 30 years of life. I've lived in Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, St. Peters, and Elsberry. NEVER have I had as many issues as I have had with Wright City postal service. I never write reviews for businesses and I hate to speak badly of people but the drivers are the laziest workers I've come across. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten notifications of "attempted deliveries" when they have literally just driven to my mailbox and put the note in without even knocking on my door. Now i'm in a new subdivision and they won't give us mail until we put a post up with a cluster of boxes. My husband works long hours and barely has time to get a regular mailbox up. We had to go in twice in the same day to get all of our mail because they wouldn't give me everything the first time. My husband had to go in and demand that they hand the rest over. Just horrible all around.
Almost all the employees working the windows have been exceptional. A small post office which services a growing population that also acts as a holding area for Amazon and Fedex. The building is inadequate to handle the new expectations placed upon the employees. So, due to the limited resources the employees do an excellent job.
The customer service is terrible. The PO loses your mail and then blame you for not sending it priority. They don't want to try to help to track down the package or envelop. It is just easier to blame the customer than to accept responsibility. I don't plan on going to this PO again. I will travel a bit further to get better service. One would think that when reviews are mostly one star, administration might want to look at how to better themselves. I guess they don't care.
