Pottery Barn furniture delivery is an absolute mess. Proceed with caution if you order here. We ordered several items that were supposed to arrive in August/early September. It is December, and we continue to be missing items. Delivery brings components to pieces, but not everything, or they bring the wrong item. Customer service is a call center, you wait on hold forever, and then reps hang up on you instead of trying to solve problems. We were supposed to get a credit to our credit card, and it still hasn’t come through. I have spent hours and hours chasing my items and still don’t have all of them. We ordered from Pottery Barn for years without any issues, but sadly cannot do business with this company anymore.
Placed an order in March and upon receiving all damaged items, I have received multiple replacement pieces that were also damaged. Went on their website and saw the items I purchased were already put on sale even though everything I had been waiting on was on “back order”. The items are clearly not quality and definitely not worth the price you’re paying. The only positive was the refund I received after waiting six months for living room furniture. The furniture I purchased from ‘Sams club’ is sadly better quality.
In a time where almost every home is exclusively furnished by Amazon, that is to say ridiculously cheap, chincy, Chinese garbage. It's so nice to have a store like Pottery Barn still in business. I've been buying from them from more years than I can remember, no, I don't furnish my entire house there or front gate. But some purchases should be made with the best quality in mind. A comforter, for example, is an excellent example. You can buy the garbage on Amazon if you'd like, but if you try one of the goose down comforter sold the pottery Barn. You'll be on here raving about how wonderful the store is. There's so much in there, it's impossible to review the whole place. Check it out, there's one in Pinecrest and you really will love the quality of the store
Don’t ever order furniture fron Pottety Barn. I ordered stools in store a month and a half ago. I should have had them a week later. Horrible customer service. Nobody knows where they are. One rep told me the delivery company has to replace them even though the delivery company said they never received them. Then when I said you figure it out with the delivery the Pottery Barn rep hung up on me. Stay away from this place.
Ordered dining room set in Oct and today 12/14/22 still waiting on missing chairs. rude service. so much for white glove service. Perhaps for some $5000 isnt expensive but that is a fair amount to spend for a small dining set and the service does not mirror the cost. Everything isnt due to COVID, bad service is bad service ....cut your prices to look more like Value City if you cant keep up with service! Had a few more items I wanted to order but I will shop elsewhere
What a nightmare it has been ordering and receiving baby furniture! After 6 months of waiting for the furniture and all the pieces to come in now we are having a nightmare getting the stuff delivered! I have had multiple delivery times come and go without anyone showing up or calling. I have spent numerous hours calling, sitting on hold and talking to customer service people to get nowhere. This is the worst customer service ever.
Bought two club chairs in April for an Aug/Sep delivery. After three months of follow ups they finally told us before the Christmas holidays that the chars were lost. Will never again buy anything at Pottery Barn.
Customer service is always top notch. I just had conversation with Josh regarding an item I ordered on-line. The wrong color was shipped by BP's vendor. Josh handled this seamlessly. In the future, I'll just run my purchases through Josh rather than the POTTERY BARN website.
PB has poor customer service. It is now against PB policy to make a price adjustment for an item that goes on sale. Our coffee table has not been delivered and PB will not adjust to the sales price.
Absolute nightmare. We recently got married and I was so excited to register with them. Out of all our gifts we only had 1 duplicate we needed to exchange. It was $400 and we were told that we had an e-merchandise card coming to our email. When it came it didn't work so they said they were mailing it. It's been over 30 days and we still don't have it and getting through on their phone line is a joke. Saved yourself the headache and register somewhere else!
