Terrible service. We were encouraged to order through the store for the best service. The custom chair arrived with a broken leg and the marble table was not leveled and installed properly before the ‘white glove’ delivery folks left our home. We paid for the service to ensure the pieces arrived safely and with extra care. This did not happen. Now the complicated process of customer service begins. I should of ordered them on line and taken my chances with UPS
Nice stuff , my favorite earthy color furniture, bedding and home decor, my low rating has nothing to do with the stuff but its all about customer service, unwelcoming atmosphere Overpriced exaggeration you can find 95% similar item for the half price Do not recommend it Not going back
This place sucks. Pottery barn in general sucks. I was in a house remodel and opened packages too late to return an item that I was charged twice for and received two of when I only wanted one. Pottery barn doesn't even give you store credit. As if pottery barn can't afford it. Scum bags! Not my first bad experience with pottery barn and their customer service isn't the greatest.
Think twice before making a purchase at Williams-Sonoma/Pottery Barn. Thought Pottery Barn was a quality retailer selling quality merchandise and more importantly being part of Williams-Sonoma that they would stand behind their products. Purchased thousands of dollars of outdoor furniture last fall - look at it now...the finish/paint is peeling off and the furniture fading all they are willing to do is give me a $200 credit and some touch up paint. What a joke.
‪Zero star service. Bought couch waited 5.5 months after getting pushed for a month and a half. Paid 300$ delivery fee, then HAD TO HELP the SOLO delivery man haul in a ten ft couch. Except it didn’t fit through the door even tho the sale person repeatedly promised it would when they came to my house and took measurements. I had to return it!! Customer service passed me 3Xs for minimal remedy‬, AND I had to remind who’s talking to me to apologise for this! I had to remind her!!! That is ridiculous. Unprofessional and waste of time and money. What a joke!
Worst customer service. I spend my money here and get absolutely no customer care. Workers hardly want to help and rude.
I really see no point in coming to a Pottery Barn store. Like some of the other "deluxe" furniture retailers you'll find in this mall like RH they have basically a lot of cheap particle board and MDF furniture for Solid wood prices. The sales people don't even know all the variations of what they have for furniture, so I don't see their value-add versus just buying online. They will rush you to order something without telling you about things like "Can this bed be ordered with legs", "does this come in different sizes/styles", etc. They're just aggressive about getting you to order with them so their store gets the credit. Of what I have bought from Pottery Barn, essentially nothing has held up over time: flat ware, furniture, plates, you name it, I've gotten things from department stores that hold up better. And their customer service is non-existent and sales are final for anything custom order which is a lot of their inventory so if you have any quality issues after waiting 6 months for your furniture, good luck. My advice: Find the style you like on Pottery Barn then head over to Wayfair and you'll find an identical piece for 1/3rd the price or less. And I guarantee you the quality will be the same.
I have purchased a Duvet from Pottery Barn. I needed a question to be answered and no one knew the answer. The 248 no. is only for designer help to sell you products. They gave me an 800 no. I had to wait so long on the phone I finally hanged up. Vey disappointed. I also receive constant email from them to sell me items. I will never purchase anything from them again. I would not recommend them .Amazon has a better service then they do.
Friendly staff. Love my dinnerware from here. Update 3/2022: the dinnerware previously reviewed has not lived up to the hype. Although beautiful, it easily chips and when using cutlery, it leaves permanent marks. Not worth what we paid for them.
My wife and I bought a big sectional from pottery barn. We found the staff helpful while in the store. However, we were bothered by them constantly trying to get us to buy accessories for the sectional. We also continue to get bombarded by emails trying to get us to set up a room design meeting with one of their experts. Overall an ok experience, but they could be less pushy about those things!
