By far the worst store for customer service. The last straw was having my in home design appointment moved to virtual, which I accepted. It was confirmed and no one called. When I called the store, the designer was with someone else, customer service was on a break and no one could do anything. I rearranged my Saturday to accommodate the designer schedule when they called to make the appointment virtual. Previous poor in person service as well. Going to a different location!!! Or using another service. Terrible. Especially considering we bought a sectional 2 weeks ago from that store.
Cannot say enough good things about how great our experience here today was. Frannie was the sweetest and most helpful salesperson we have experienced in a long time. We were looking at sofas and she took the time to answer all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. Would recommend seeing her and Josh on the weekends should you need anything from pottery barn.
Buyer, beware! In my opinion, a very poor experience. After waiting several months, I was informed my items were available for white glove delivery. After making the arrangements for delivery in my building, I was informed by the delivery team only half of the furniture order was on the truck. I should have rejected the entire delivery, now I’m struggling to get a hold of someone who can research my order and give me an update on the remaining items. In my opinion, Pottery Barn is NOT a furniture store. I would suggest trying Havertys or other companies the truly offer white glove delivery. I hope this saves you time and frustration.
I had a terrible experience purchasing furniture for our home from Pottery Barn in Town Center Mall Boca. The salespeople are friendly and helpful when you're in the store buying. The shipping was awful, they kept pushing back the delivery dates and every item that was delivered cost me hundreds of dollars per item. The manager Josh was suppose to send me all of the delivery costs via email but he never did. He said he would work on getting the fees reduced but he never did. I left several messages for him at the store and he never returned any of my calls. The sales person was very nice but not organized or helpful regarding the shipping process. I called Pottery Barn customer service to ask about reducing shipping charges because I had to pay each time an item shipped based on their time frame for item. Customer service said "they can't reduce shipping fees because its their policy" The bottom line you pay top dollar, expensive shipping fees, continues delays, lack of communication from manager or care because they already made the sale. I ordered furniture from other stores and it was a positive, organized and straightforward process, nothing like Pottery Barn.
Workers here didn't have welcome atmosphere... I like Pottery Barn, so I go different locations.
Has to be the WORST furniture store and customer service imaginable. And for overpriced stuff. We ordered a set of office furniture 6-7 months ago and were assured delivery back in June. The delivery company which cannot be discerned or otherwise identified anywhere, super sketchy is just ABOMINABLE. They seem to “lose” or “misplace” thousands of dollars in furniture on a whim. A couple times, after diligent follow up with them by phone, email, LinkedIn, etc., they even had the gall to report delivering the furniture to us but never doing so. Back in late September, they haphazardly delivered bits and pieces of the office furniture and dropped them in a giant pile in our entryway which is STILL sitting there; bear in mind we also paid hundreds of dollars for their mandatory assembly service as well. After my husband pushed them, we were assured a November delivery and full assembly and to date have heard NOTHING, and it’s already end of the month. Needless to say, we are out several thousand dollars with an eyesore of boxes containing bits and pieces of the office set and nothing to show for it. I work full time at home and have been using plastic foldout tables for several months. Stay away from ordering from Pottery Barn unless you’re willing to give away money for nothing in return and the WORST customer service imaginable. Will be reporting them to BBB and the state attorney general and disputing the charge, after giving them ample leeway and opportunities to make things right, to no avail.
I ordered a dining room table on February 17, 2022 NINE months ago. To date, the dining table has been back ordered. I finally received notification last week that the dining table was ready for delivery, and so I scheduled delivery for tomorrow afternoon. Today, I received a message from Pottery Barn stating that only the bottom of the table was ready for delivery. In other words, Pottery Barn was going to deliver me a half a table which is completely unusable, turning my house into Pottery Barn's unpaid storage space for another god-knows-how months until the top is ready. I called customer service to ask them to hold the bottom half of the table until they had a full table ready for delivery. Customer service flat out told me that I should "take what is being offered" to me, because Pottery Barn is in the middle of moving facilities, and by the time they shipped the top of the table they will "probably lose the bottom." While I appreciate the candor of the customer service agent, I find it appalling that Pottery Barn thinks it is appropriate to inform me that if I don't store a half a table at my house, that they will likely lose my order. This is especially egregious after having made me wait nine months for delivery. It appears that Pottery Barn is simply selling items that it cannot deliver, and the customer is left holding the bag.
No wonder general brick and mortar is shutting down. Slow service, team doesn’t look happy. Did a click and collect, the email said the order will be ready in 2hrs. I got there 2.5hrs after ordering, the order wasn’t ready. And only 1 of the 2 items was actually in the store. They had to do a refund. Click and collect is supposed to be fast. This was slow. Slow for the team to actually get the order, find the items and slow to do a refund. Just a miserable experience
I scheduled an online appointment to meet with an interior designer for my new home. I got an email confirmation that the appointment was sent. However, no link to call in to. I left everything and went back home for the meeting and called Pottery Barn Boca, explaining that I have a meeting at this time. The woman told me that all her diesigners are busy. When I asked her about the confirmation, she got short with me, telling me she is busy i am wasting her time and not the other way round. She never checked for me if any were free for my confirmed slot. She said she had to go, but they will call me back. They never did. She was very rude. Lousy service.
had sofa delivered with stains. been a month after 6 emails and 4 phone calls and no one has followed up to come clean it. GREAT PRODUCTS BUT TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
