We attended the Circle Legacy Powwow at Riverfront Park. The Native American heritage was interesting to view—from the different dances to the beautiful colors of their clothing, blankets, and dreamcatchers. It was amazing to see different tribes in full regalia. We even got to see first hand and learn about birds, owls, and hawks. Riverfront Park itself was clean from trash and debris with cleared paths to walk and places to sit and picnic near the river. It was a beautiful sunny day at the park and many people attended. A great experience for all!
This place is beautiful refreshing and fun! A book cabinet is out front to donate free books even canned food and diapers are there sometimes. In the winter someone knits scarves and puts then in there. It's kept very clean and is a charming little piece of natural escape in a historic overcrowded town.
We came here to run a 5K and it was a great little park to enjoy! The location on the waterfront was very nice!
Beautiful walk and bike trail. Beware today 7/31. Bees covering both sides of the trail hundreds all in the grass! We had to turn around!
It's beautiful here. Serene, and peaceful. Picnic area: Lots of spots to lay s blanket down and have picnic. Lots of benches and spots to take a break if you're walking.
Nice place to take a stroll along the river! Weather was perfect - saw people kayaking, biking and walking! This was much needed relief after the strenuous hike up Monocacy hill Trail yesterday.
Nice park. Lots of car parking for riding the SRT. There is also a kayaking outfit. They truck you up river and you paddle down.
We used the riverfront as our exit spot for our tubing trip; it's a nice park although the muck in the water is deep and claimed two pairs of footwear from our crew.
Bike riding along the Schuylkill River trail was relaxing and scenic... I highly recommend it if you're looking for a safe, smooth trip... Playground: Small playground near MCCC that is great for a picnic and somewhere for the kids and dogs to play. Came to Pottstown for work, got off and grabbed something to eat on this nice day. I googled parks in the area and found this. Nice and peaceful
