PWS Behavior Research Lab- social, behavioral, and psychiatric features over lifespan
We are a comprehensive Prader-Willi syndrome center that focuses on the behavioral health and medical needs of individuals with PWS.
Individuals with PWS (ages 5+), their caregivers, teachers and providers are invited to contact our lab for: behavioral consultations; IEP and school recommendations; information about ongoing and upcoming studies; and best practices for social, emotional, behavioral, educational, and lifespan related issues.
With over 400 past patients and 50 years of combined experience, our lab has extensive clinical and research experience with individuals with PWS. In the past, we have developed outcome measures, such as Dr. Dykens' widely used Hyperphagia Questionnaire. Today we continue validating these measures and developing new measures for clinical trials. We often partner with FPWR, PWSA, and drug companies for outcome measures in PWS.
