Pros: • the office staff. Literally the best office staff of any doctors office in all of San Antonio. I've never met more kind, well organized office staff. We absolutely adore them and even with the cons, I tried to stay solely because of the office staff, i like them that much. They always make us feel welcome, theyre great with kids, they're understanding, and they do their best to get you in asap. • the wait time is very minimal. Scheduling is pretty easy, we get there and we're seen very quickly, no waiting around in a room for an hour to see a doctor. They're very efficient. • the location next to the heb pharmacy we use is great. It's a plus. Cons: • DR. MULLINS. I constantly feel as though he doesn't listen to me when I speak on concerns with my children. He makes comments under his breath like "always an excuse" or makes these faces like he thinks I'm lying or overreacting. It turns out I wasn't over reacting, as i type this from an ER parking lot. We as parents know when something is not right with our children. To have a doctor constantly dismiss me is just infuriating. Don't work in pediatrics if you're not going to take the concerns of parents, who know their children best, seriously.
I absolutely love everyone in this office! Vanessa has been so incredibly helpful and I am overjoyed to say my kids are patients here. Dr.M is so patient!
I couldn’t get past the initial call to make an appointment. I called for new patient appointments for 3 of my children. I was redirected to their website to make sure we are in network. I asked if the office could just check for me because I had my hands full watching my children at the moment. The answer was no. The office could not help me Check to see if they accepted my insurance. I’ve never been told that be a pediatricians office. I’ve lived here and in the valley, and never not once has an office been so reluctant to help. If a relationship starts off like this, thank you for helping me make my decision not to use this practice. I called Almouie who was right up the road from them. Almouie was able to verify that they were in network and they set up appointments for all my kids. It’s a shame Priority Pediatrics couldn’t make us a priority and help me out. But there are pediatric offices that will and I will happily pay them.
Dr. Lovett was fine. The office staff is TERRIBLE. The rudest ladies ALL OFF THEM I've ever dealt with in a pediatric office. I was giving them the chance, in case they had a bad day, but they were always RUDE. They were rude every time we talked on the phone or I had questions, at least four times. PLUS They don't accept walks in. They don't work on Saturday. I've decided to support our veterans and go to Pediatric Heroes.
Dr. Lovett's front desk was polite, professional, and prompt. We get appointments when we need them. Dr. Lovett is wonderful, caring, listened and took time to review our files. She's pro-vaccination, pro-mental healthcare for kids and we're very thankful we found her.
We love Dr. Lovett and her staff! They’re always helpful and friendly and never make you feel bad for asking a million questions. Making appointments is easy and always able to make same day appointments for kiddos who are sick. Very compassionate Dr. and staff overall great experience and will continue to come to this office.
No stars or even better negative stars should be an option for a rating. Without getting into too much detail I'm dumbfounded as to how someone as insensitive and completely cuckoo as Jeanne Lovett could even be granted a license to practice medicine, much less on children. Perhaps she was different when she was younger but in her current "state" she should unquestionably be prohibited from practice as well as running a clinic. It is clearly in you and particularly your child's best interest to stay away, FAR away!
My daughters have been seeing Dr. Lovett for 27 years, my youngest was only 2 weeks old at the first visit. My oldest is now almost 21 and in college. You won’t find a more thorough or caring doc. She is blunt - she will tell you like it is and we have needed that over the years. She explains things well too. When my oldest was a little girl she wouldn’t let the nurse touch her, she insisted on the doc giving her all of her shots, and Dr. Lovett would do it. Since starting college my kid still hasn’t established a relationship with a new dr. She’s been very sick the last few days and Dr. Lovett took her right away and figured things out immediately after Urgent Care didn’t help. The staff was so happy to see my girl, and she was there a few minutes tea just filling them in on college life. Dr. Lovett and staff are like family!
Update for 2021 - Always great service - still super happy with Dr. Lovett and her staff. The wait times are very short if at all for appts - the staff is super friendly - Dr. Lovett is caring, kind and always willing to talk to parents and the kids about whatever health needs or concerns they have at any time. We have been going to Dr. Lovett for years and we consistently recommend her to friends, family and coworkers. Our little is always happy to see Dr.Lovett and our teen still feels comfortable seeing her after all these years and is confident with the care given. Just an update so reviewers know that the review made a year ago still stands. Always great service from the Front Office Staff, Nurses and the Doctor. Both my children had been going to thus Pediatric office and our eldest has gone to Dr. Lovett for over sixyears now. As our kiddos have gotten older they still enjoy seeing their Doctor no small feat knowing that we generally go when the kiddos aren't feeling well and are sick. The Front Office Staff is always friendly, helpful and thorough when helping us with needed appointments or handling our insurance. The Nurse is always kind and has us in to be seen by the Doctor fairly quickly this all depends on how busy the office is but our wait times to see Dr. Lovett have never been overly long compared to other Pediatric offices I had gone to years ago. Dr. Lovett is thorough, friendly and always kind with our kiddos. The staff and Doctor still get a 5 star rating from our family after years of office visits for colds, allergies and Well CheckUps. Happy clients for sure.
I’ve read the other reviews and don’t believe the negative ones to be an accurate depiction of the office staff or doctor. My girls are 11 and 13 and have been patients at priority Pediactrics since they were 1 and 3 when we relocated to San Antonio. We began seeing Dr Leiloglou when we started, but after his departure from the practice have since seen Dr Lovett. I feel so blessed that she’s my girls’ doctor. She takes the time to really explain options and diagnosis with us. She’s amazing. I don’t know how anyone could not absolutely love her and the way that she treats her patients. Her office staff has changed over the years. Her current office staff and nurses are so sweet. I refer friends and people who are new to the area here all the time without any reservation. I’ve been an educator for 22 years and see the care they take with my children. I give the practice five stars...something I don’t do often when reviewing a business. I’m picky
