What a phenomenal experience. We had such a blast here. It is a super nice place, well laid out displays, plenty of room to move around and interact with displays. It has 3 floors with elevators if needed. Seats are spaced out occasionally to take a break. Nice little cafe at the end. All the employees from the front desk to the store were simply wonderful, very welcoming. Great experience I would recommend to anyone.
This was a fantastic experience! The flow of the museum is easy to follow and leads you through the history of professional football from the beginning. It includes plenty of old uniforms, leather helmets and other items from the very early days as well as memorabilia from more recent players. The section with the busts of inductees is spacious enough that it's easy to get pictures of your favorite players. There are also some entertaining interactive exhibits and a cool locker room holographic film. Even my football indifferent family enjoyed themselves.
A must see for any Professional Football fan from the ages of 5-95. An amazing collection of NFL memorabilia from the early 1900’s all the way through the current day. A very well put together exhibit at a very reasonably price. U can see the entire exhibit/museum in approximately 4 hours without rushing & assuming it’s not crowded. I highly recommend getting there at 9 a.m. when they open this way you have the entire day to explore & enjoy it without being rushed. The Bust’s in the Bust room ARE A MUST SEE. TRULY SPECTACULAR!! There are also 2 theaters which are both really cool. One is interactive with holograms & the other is a 8-9 min. movie about the road to the super bowl. If your ever in Ohio or the greater Canton area and are on the fence of visiting, don’t cheat yourself & definitely take the time out to go visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame., you won’t be disappointed.
The NFL Hall of Fame was very nice. Our visit took about 3 1/2 hours to go through. It was clean and they had ample friendly staff. Learning about the NFL from its roots until present day was really interesting. Both theaters and the interactive exhibits were really interesting as well. Tons of cool stuff for sale in their store too.
Pro Football Hall Of Fame is located in Canton Ohio for several reasons like Jim Thorpe signed his pro contract here, the American Football Association changed its name to the National Football League here, and the Canton Bulldogs were charter members and the first two-time champions of the NFL with undefeated seasons. The museum is on three floors with many incredible and one of a kind artifacts. Many displays and two fantastic movie presentations with many other videos. The gift shop is expansive with souvenirs for every team. They also have a nice Cafe.
My husband and I visited and had a great time! I highly recommend starting at 9AM and doing the second floor first. You don’t want to miss seeing the bust room all alone. In addition to our own site seeing, we purchased the guided tour. Fred, our guide, was absolutely amazing! The tour says one hour but expect to be educated by Fred for the next TWO HOURS! He was extremely personable and very knowledgeable. We spent four hours of our day here and I would love to come again. You only see less than 2% of the memorabilia they have available and most things get turned out for something else often. There is also a lot of interactive features. You get to see how big the arms, hands, and legs are. They even have items on the floor for you to touch!
Unfortunately I toured the Hall of Fame in 2020 when covid was still a major concern so some interaction exhibits we're closed. But if you're a fan of the game of football, it's definitely a must see if you're ever in the area! This was definitely a check off on my bucket list! Thank you to my son-in-law for arranging all of this for me!
Other than the parking situation it was an enjoyable experience. When get there the parking was at the high school. They run shuttles but we didn't know that. Nor did we know where to get up to go back. They need to work on communicating better. As far as the hall of fame itself. Its really nice the people in the purple shirts are a huge help. The gift shop was huge and not all that overpriced compared to other venues I've been to. It was a great experience for the true football fans.
This place is awesome! If you are a football fan than this a must visit. Give yourself at least an hour if not two so you will get to see everything. Each room is setup to just follow the history of the sport. Just follow the arrows in each area. The place was very clean and the staff was very polite and friendly. There are tours and a couple areas to watch some of the best games and superbowls. Pretty good selection inside the shop but prices were a little high on somethings. If you couldn't tell from my first two sentences of this review I definitely recommend coming here. It's a great experience.
We came up to the pro football hall of fame museum on a Saturday around 1pm and the games started in the stadium next door at 3pm. You will need more time to explore the whole museum! I'm not a huge football fan but it was super cool and interesting the parts we could get through. Things to do for all ages in the museum! We parked in the museum parking lot which was close to the football stadium so it was a short walk. It was very interesting to see the behind the scenes of a televised football game too. The camera guys don't get paid enough that's for sure! ‍ The beer was $10 a bottle, Truly seltzer was $12 each, Water bottles were $4 each. Pretty steep prices considering you aren't allowed to bring anything in. Especially if you plan on staying for two games like we did. Pack a lunch and drinks in the car if you want to save $$$ Trace Adkins played during the intermission and it was a great show although i wish they would of had him hooked up to the large speakers, it was hard to hear near the top. Overall an awesome experience!
