Everyone was so kind and fast. One guy even pulled me into the shade and was honest about my 20 minute wait. The manager think his name was Waylon or Wyatt... He was so nice and professional. He was training a gentleman while taking care of me and I really appreciate how respectful he was to me and the fact that I am pregnant and it was super hot but he was also very patient and kind to his employees. It's that kind of customer service that will bring me coming back time and time again. I'm now a faithful customer.
Wasn’t going to leave a review but got a text asking for one…. I pulled into the oil changers because there was no line and I figured it should be quick. Sat in the bay with my hood up for about 30 min before they even started my oil change. All total took 45 min, and the employees were not friendly. I’ve been going there since it was pro lube but ever since it changed to oil changers the service has been worse each time. I won’t be going back since I can change it myself quicker.
I came here a few months ago and had a completely different experience compared to today's. My last visit was very good and the people were great to chat with, however this time, the service itself was good, but I feel the manager, Noah, could use more and/or better training. I got told the myth of switching between conventional and synthetic oil was bad for your engine, which is 100 percent NOT true. And to be told that "nobody uses conventional oil anymore because it's not the 50's" felt ignorant to me. My car doesn't require synthetic nor blend even though it's a Subaru because it's an older generation 2006 before they needed it starting in 2011. It felt like an upsell attempt for more expensive oil, which I understand more than likely comes from corporate to increase profits. Overall, I was happy with the actual service, but feel Noah could use more training to correct some of the false information I was told.
This place is great and has reasonable pricing! They provide a fast and friendly service! They let me know about my air filter, they fixed a bolt under my car, and I came back for them to fix it and they did it with no hesitation! Definitely coming back for my next oil change! Straight forward oil change. Friendly, competent employee who showed me the oil dip stick with the old oil level/cleanliness, and the new, which I’m sure is part of his job. Didn’t try to upsell, which I greatly appreciated. I would recommend to anyone, but not if you’re in a hurry. The person interacting with the customer is also the person changing the oil, so it does take extra time, and there may be other customers.Service: Oil change
If you are going to have people work there and give a quote for an oil change, they should make sure they know what they are talking about. If I would’ve let them work on my company truck they would’ve put 2 quarts over the full amount and try to insist that it had to be a full synthetic but it only needed to be dexos approved.
I can’t say enough about the people that work at the Chico location. I have two old cars and I bring them in for checks all the time bc I’m nervous about low oil and tire pressure etc. this impressively inclusive! staff is always on point, friendly and not missing a beat. I feel lucky they are close to my house!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement
The manager kept pointing out repeatedly that he was training 4 people at one time I found out a little bit scary in the sense of my vehicle. Wanted to make sure it’s been taken care of. One of the newer people shouted at the top of their lungs, check lights right in my left ear, which was really really irritating. Was very unhappy to discover that there’s no longer a free car wash when you’re putting out a little over 100 bucks for an oil change. Won’t be back. Sticking with Jiffy Lub.Service: Oil change
