Prodigy Pups Dog Training

I worked with Christa a couple of years ago and she was great! There was something new that I needed to work on with my dog so reached out to her about it :- Christa was GREAT once again, addressed the issues I was facing, gave me ways to address the situation, and gave lots of encouragement. She is really knowledgeable in the field of dog training! I would 100 percent encourage you to use her/ Prodigy Pups!

I can't recommend Prodigy Pups enough. We have a German Shepard/Belgian Malinois mix. Before Prodigy Pups she was a very rambunctious pup who was into everything. We could not turn our back on her for a second. She was terrorizing our kids--mouthing and jumping on them. She had ripped multiple jackets and other clothing items through her "play." She was jumping on everyone who came through our door and would lose her mind on walks when people or dogs were near. We had begun doing classes at the Humane Society, but where not making much progress due to the distractions of other dogs and people. Not only did Becky pick up our dog, but she spent time understanding our home environment and our concerns. We received video updates each night during the boarding process and the transformation was amazing to watch. Not only was our dog not mauling everyone in sight, but she was calmly sitting/laying down as kids and dogs were all around her. Becky dropped our dog off after two weeks and then spent an hour with us going over commands and how to respond to behaviors. She also provided a handy report and reference guide for maintaining our dog's training. Since returning home she our dog has been calm and no longer requires constant supervision. I was able to take her to the park and let her off leash to play fetch without concern and we had no issues with her getting distracted. While this is spendy, there is no way we would have gotten to this point on our own. We would have struggled through class after class with mounting frustration. Instead we had an expert who was able to provide the guidance and training our dog and family needed. I can't say enough good things about Prodigy Pups!

100% recommend! Becky drove 2 hours to pick up my dog from my home so that he could be viewed in his natural habitat. During his training, she noticed a potential ear infection. She brought it to our attention and with our permission, took him to a vet to be treated. At the end of his training, Becky drove him back to our house so she could teach us how to handle him in his home environment. She was also able to notice a lot of things about his personality that we had not been able to figure out. He was planned for 2 weeks of training with a potential to add a 3rd if he needed it we suspected he would but it only took 2 weeks and he’s been great at home ever since!

I have had dogs all my life and felt like I had a good grasp on how to train a dog, although my follow through could have used some work over the years, and those puppy eyes... they may have made me a bit of a pushover once and awhile. But after doing rescue and working with multiple personalities I was pretty confident in my training. And then...... I got my 1st Aussie, Covid hit and there was no socialization. I worked with another trainer with no luck. Blu was a mess every time a person or car went by. She would lunge and bark like crazy. She was sweet but no one knew. Then over a year of medical issues happened, Yes... I know probably the worst timing, but in all the yuck and late nights being up I found another Aussie. I just wanted to feel normal and have something to look forward to in a year of so many downs and so much sickness. So we got Winze. A ball of happiness but A LOT of dog. I reached out to a few board and train programs. But no one fit like Becky Lombardo Dammann . To say I am grateful for meeting her is an understatement. She has trained both my Aussies and I am in awe of her patience, kindness and love for the dogs. If anyone is second guessing if their dog can be happy and trainable please reach out to her. It was a life changing decision. It doesn't go without follow through but these pups are happier and our lives are fuller with them in it. So proud of these 2 pups. Christa and Amanda were our trainers, Amazing would recommend 100%. My 6 month old lab is completely different with them they are so easy to talk with during and after they go home. He was there for puppy Obedience training. They communicate with you daily to keep you up to date especially since he was gone for 3 weeks and weekly videos. Had a great experience would definitely recommend!
