I've been wanting to check this place out and today I did. I was not really impressed. Much of the fruit I looked at had fruit flies or mold see pictures. Also, I know this is personal preference but I really dislike the layout or maybe it was just the fact that I could find normal things and finally got frustrated and left. It is a clean and well lit store but the one employee I spoke cashier to either didn't respond or was so low I couldn't hear her. I might give them another chance at some point but there are lots of other options in this area.
Fruits and veggies are not ready to buy when the store opens. They put them out hours after. Selling old cucumbers that stay for weeks. The italian sausages a lot of them are expired. A lot of expired beer. The shopping carts are not being removed from the parking lot and are blocking the road and parking spots. Very expensive store with low standards. Been coming here for 20 years with my whole family and recently it’s been becoming from bad to worse.
Love this grocery store! Very international! Can always find good produce and good prices. Bakery items are lovely and huge selection of cheeses, smoked meats/sausages. Great butcher with Halal meats available as well.
For his arrogance, stubbornness and for being such narrow-minded, I would give this store's owner Steve negative stars if I could. The meat department there is dishonest and it was pretty sad that the store's owner Steve supported the meat department when I complained. Very rude and obnoxious with a tiny brain, the owner thinks that he is in some Third-World country where he can treat customers with disrespect and disobey the law by making his own illegal rules. They should be looking forward to get a heavy law suit by someone against them if they won't change their behavior towards customers, soon. I recommend that you have your phone on video recording when next time you go to shop there or at least have voice recording on, so you can have a solid evidence of their misbehaviour and misconduct.
I love this place, I buy my produce here all the time. They have a good selection in general, the only problem is there's an awkward a strange assistant manager there that's follows you around the store if he's never seen you before and makes assumptions on people character and a Ukrainian girl who l of looks like a zombie from the dawn of the dead that keeps their eye on anyone who's not Ukrainian/European to make sure they don't run out the store with a box of mangos . They are prejudice and bias and treat any one who's a minority or brown like they are gonna shoplift. They watch to much TV and need to live in the real world. Maybe they should eat more fresh produce because they seem anxious, dehydrated and malnourished lacking vitamin d sunlight and it's making them racist and ignorant. They think they are the only honest good people and everyone else is bad. If Jesus went in there to shop they would treat him like a thief when really they are dealing with a saint. They must keep in mind, Jesus is not Ukrainian with blue eyes he's brown. I guess the year 2020 really traumatized them, stop treating people who shop for fruits and vegetables like thieves. The Pinnacle of ignorance, but no bliss. Other than that good store and the amigos are very good people. They are the only reason why I keep coming back.
Hands down, my favorite store. Great variety of imported foods.
Lots of ethnic foods, great deli and good wine selection. Produce is fresh.
Big choice of international food. Great thing because bigger part of that food is organic. Update: one star less because the prices went up comparing with similar markets.
I love this store and most of the staff but damn those two young girls by cash register need to learn some manners. I never heard hello from them nor thank you or have a good day and yes I say hello and thank you and they just ignore it. Instead they just gossip with each other in their language.
I worked there for a few months and I really disliked the way they treated the immigrant workers there including my mom, I'll never spend any of my money here
