Prosser School of Technology offers a night class for high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy or the health care field. The class is taught by a licensed pharmacist and held nightly after a regular day of high school classes. The students also work at local pharmacies as a requirement of the class. This class is a certified Indiana State Board of Pharmacy technician training program. At the end of the year, the students become certified pharmacy technicians, as long as they have completed the requirments. The students will also be prepared to take the National pharmacy technician certification exam, which can help them gain employment in more rigorous pharmaceutical settings.
