Good family rink
We are in the program learn to skate. Teachers in tot class and basic 1Daniel and Chelsea seems, like they don't even wanna be there,so imagine introducing your child to the world of ice skating?!Class is only 30 mins and teacher don't pay attention where child is wonders off ,let alone showing the proper way of what to do. I would definitely not recommend this class,if you are assigned to those teachers.
My daughter learns figure skating and son does ice hockey here. The teachers and staff are really nice and the facility is top notch. I am really glad we have such a facility in Somerset that attracts crowd from across central NJ
Went to compare different rinks for my son found this on Google with decent reviews, as I walked in to check the place out I overheard a coach on one of the two small rinks screaming at a team full of kids probably between the ages of 5 or 6. The coach who had glasses, a beard and was bald was very aggressive towards the kids and treated them with a lack of regard for their age. No matter how small of a mistake the kids made he screamed at the top of his lungs. I would not recommend to bring your kids here.
Great location for public skate. Affordable and awesome staff. During my last visit I was particularly impressed with the cafe staff. EJ was kind, courteous, and was able to accomodate for us even though he was ringing up and preparing food for all the patrons of the crowded cafe.
My girlfriend and I had a great time on our date. However, you should know that sometimes I believe on Saturdays around 12:10 pm, open/public skate is held on th3 2 half rinks, rather than the main/full sized rink. I don't know about you, but I get a bit tired skating tight circles for an hour. So check the schedule on their website, and maybe call them up if you are interested in skating on that big rink. Anyway, I'm sire if you're not a serious skater, you'll have a great time. For both of us, with both skate. rentals, it cost $22, which is not. bad.
Horrible experience. I have visited and called the Somerset location several times and did not get any responses back. I have been Trying to plan a party for the last 2 years without a response back. Multiple calls and voice mail but nothing. Plus, I went to the location. I started August 1st 2017 and nothing from the person who is reported to be the contact person at the location. I called Woodbridge Community Center and was greeted professionally by young adults. This place is disrespectful, not professional and not concerned about the community.
Like this place. It’s cleaner than most rinks that I’ve been too
I had a party here. We were given a private rink with an employee just watching. It was apparent the kids needed a lesson. No one helped. One of the adults from my party fell and hurt himself, the manager was called over with a waiver for him to sign to then call the ambulance. He broke his ankle. This place just sucks
What cool place. Lots of elevated viewing areas, a place to sit and get snacks and several rinks where people can skate. The owners are great to our hockey team when we need ice time to train too.
