Providence Bar & Eatery

Very fun bar with good music and beer. Bartenders were very friendly. The wall has fun word puzzles on it. Great place to meet a friend for drinks!Food: 5/5

This place used to be a piano bar but is now called Providence. They have to independent Nintendo's or machines that will play any game from Mario 2 Super Kart 2 anything new for free that have ping pong and great Lounge seating. Also ultimate covered Lounge seating Outdoors the drinks are good I highly recommend Providence. The interior design is extraordinary

Love this place. Lots of free entertainment and swanky cocktails. There’s even a fun shot menu. Swing a quick drink down then meet up for some ping pong. It’s an adult playhouse.

Went in for a night out with coworkers. They don't have food so I brought my own I decided not to eat my food simply because it was a canine walking across the bar. News flash not everyone is receptive to eating behind animals. The guy bartender was extremely intoxicated and unattentive . There was another aggressive dog roaming around the bar smelling folks up. He occasionally barked and due to his size and the lack of awareness by the owner I decided to take my chances outside in the Houston heat of the night. I felt extremely uncomfortable and underserved. The vibe by the staff was unprofessional and uncaring. Everyone doesn't like animals and intoxicated staff members. I will never return

Nice little bar in the heights area. Close to a few other bars so if you want to bar hop off 18th street good place to end the night. Bartender was very engaged. It’s a low key bar so not overly crowded. Check it out if you are in the area!

Enjoy this bar everytime we go! Met the owners last night and they are Fantastic people. Very creative and love that they are super active into designs for a fun atmosphere!

Love this place. Shelia and Ashley have done such great work with this place. The decorations are awesome. It's always a fun and welcoming place to stop by and a have a cocktail or 5.

Well... dive bar is the best way to describe this place. I've been a few times, have fun each time, but it's older than and completely opposite from many of the other bars in the area walking distance. They have ping pong, darts, video games, etc... it's a place you go to hang with friends. If you get tired of some of the louder places nearby, it's worth walking over.

Owner loved to inform me that my car being towed could not be refunded. WHILE I PAID MY TAB While i was trying to figure out who towed my car and how this mistake can be fixed, one of the owners said: "I could be inside making money right now" They care about their money and that tow truck $$$ UPDATED RESPONSE: Incorrect, I called the towing company and they informed me they received a call from Providence Bar for a towing. I CONFIRMED with the owner myself that yall called the towing company. While I closed my TAB.
