Been coming here for some years now. I like this clinic. It's close and convenient and generally they run on time. Doctor turnover is high - on my third doctor now. After my annual wellness visit this year I was smacked with a $350 bill. A bill that SHOULD have been 100% COVERED by my insurance as it had been every other year. I mean, it's a WELLNESS check. But apparently my insurance ended the contract with Providence ? according to the office manager -- and Providence says my insurance company never informed them of the ended contract so they didn't know. Sadly it is ME who now must pay $350 for the appointment.I would never have made the appt had I known I would be forced to pay out of pocket for this visit. I already pay $550/month for insurance! The office manager seemed empathetic to my situation and was helpful at first . She put my bill on hold while she looked into the situation. However I haven't heard back from her at all and now today I received an "overdue" bill. A bill that says it was overdue almost a month ago. Ugh. ZERO communication. Thanks guys. UPDATE: I have updated my review as this ended up being more of a problem with my insurance company than anything. Annie at Providence Bickford did an excellent job of advocating for me and she followed through until the issue was solved. Thank you.
I’ve never had a Doctors office fight against me to get my prescription. I’ve called in twice to find out what is going on. The second time, I was told it would be marked urgent. Still haven’t received a call to find out what’s going on. Kind of hard to see the “care” factor at this clinic.
My question is, why have a doctor you can't see. I had to go to the ER for help last night. Because you can't see your doctor for 2 months. So your only choice is a walk in, or the ER. Sad part is I think my doctor is wonderful.
Office staff here gave my wife false information about accepting her insurance, now they are asking us to foot the bill $400 for the lack of training of their staff on how to handle these questions. Dr McCahon was attentive and a highly effective clinician who listened to my wife's concerns. Unfortunately not everyone at this office has the same zest for patient care.
I love my Dr. the staff are nice and friendly and care about you. You are not just a number to them you are a friend. GOOD JOB YOU GUYS
This place sent me to my car because I had a upper respiratory infection so I payed for them to make me sit in my car how ridiculous - this is sad that they singled me out. - what is happening to the health care code of conduct. They singled me out because of Covid how stupid. I want my money back.
My wife went to see the doctor to get a simple refill for her meds, the nurse took all the info, we waited an hour for the doctor only to tell us that she can not give it to us due to not being specialized enough. There goes our money and time out of the window. Very unfriendly doctor as well.
My elderly disabled mom had been waiting for a cab to bring her home. She does not own a cell phone, not does she want one. The cab company notified me that they had showed up at the clinic so I called the reception desk there at the Snohomish clinic with the intention of making sure my mom connected with the driver. I was placed on hold long enough for my mom to arrive home. Thank God the driver found her in the lobby so she wasn't stuck, but I was on hold for almost 15 minutes. I hung up, because she was home. But I'm very disappointed that when it was urgent to speak to someone in the clinic they didn't have enough people to answer the phones in a timely manner. There are some other issues I'm not happy with concerning my mom's care, I'm trying to find her a different doctor to see. This is just one more straw.
My husband went in for another follow up from a dui driver hitting him a year later. We wanted to make sure his soreness was normal before we closed with the car insurance. He was treated like he wanted prescriptions and Dr. Feltner was not helpful. We have been going to this clinic for over 10 years and he did not deserve to be treated so low. The office also messes up on billing almost every visit. I tried to call the manager of this clinic and she has never responded.
I have been going to this clinic for 10 years! Seeing Dr. Grant who is an exceptional doctor caring, smart and always pushing me to complete my goals. I called yesterday was told he's no longer with the clinic but a Dr. M could see me as he's taking Dr. Grant patient's so I schedule the appt. About 5 mins later get a call back stating Dr. M won't see me because of my narcotic script and she will ask a different md in office if they will see me and follow up. So she calls back maybe 5 minutes later and states no one in the office will see you for your pain management/follow up with you but they can refer you to a specialist because of the new "providence rules". Its truly upsetting and sad as a patient for years with no problems/ always abbided by my contract to be treated differently. Its sad that we get less&less time with doctors. Wait longer, can't get into our doctors when really needed and now there being dictated on how,vwhen and what they can treat!! So beyond irritated with our healthcare system.
