Very cool place. It's a nice pub with 2 pool tables! There's a jukebox too! So you got booze, good food, pool and jukebox. What else do you really need for having a good time? The pool is very affordable at $5 an hour or $2.5 for half an hour. selection is pretty decent. I didn't eat food here, so can't Comment on the selection or quality. Pool table was in great condition. The staff was very warm.n welcoming. Definitely recommend this place.
Update 3 weeks later: + now = $60 $70 w/tip?!? Man, this inflation is getting out of control! I won't I can't! go back, especially now that the Food Truck is no longer making the burgers. The Fire Pit Burger was literally the best burger I've ever had in my life see original review. And NOW the burger is no longer on the menu & I can't, for the life of me, find the FOOD TRUCK that made it!?! If anyone out there could lmk where to find it, I'd be eternally grateful. THAT dude knows how to make a burger that's actually worth $20. If you like a really good burger & crispy fries, I feel compelled to recommend Pub 85, specifically the Fire-pit Burger. It's literally the best burger I've ever had. I'm not one to get excited over a cheeseburger, but... you'll understand if you try it. And the fries are battered, which makes them super crispy & retain heat longer. The buns are also the perfect size & keep everything intact, so the last bite is somehow better than the first! My boyfriend feels the same way. We're currently on a "weekly" schedule, exclusively for this burger. They're doing some remodeling in the kitchen, so it's prepared in an adjacent food truck, apparently by some kind of burger savant!? But seriously. Every burger in life should be this good.
Pub 85 in Kirkland is a no-nonsense kind of place. It's a modest bar, without a lot of frills, but that's part of its charm. Here you get solid drinks - impressively strong, but at prices that won't leave your wallet crying! The service stands out, especially from the pull tab waitresses, who are consistently friendly and attentive. Plus, the recent remodel has given the place a nice, modern upgrade. While it might not be packed with bells and whistles, Pub 85 is a reliable spot to hang out. It's good, honest fun without being exceptional, which is why I'm giving it a solid 4 stars. Worth a visit if you're in Kirkland!
Glad we came here. We were working from out of state. We always search for a good sports bar, when we call it a night. Bud Light that’s our beer on tap amongst lots of others. TVs all around . This place did not disappoint. The patio has TVs there too. I saw the pictures of the breaded wings online… SOLD. That’s what we ordered. Crispy. Yum. Our bartender was attentive. Whenever a new customer walked in, he was on it. Thanks for the hospitality, Rob. Prices on the menu have changed, though. It says so on a sticker in front of the menu. We learned that as we were leaving. Would’ve been nice to know that from the gate. We save our receipts for work.
Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. Had the burger dip and it was soooo good. Fries are really good, too. Only drawback is that there is a lot going on and nothing to absorb the sounds. Music was too loud. You can have a conversation but the sounds are intrusive. It could be because they are remodeling. Maybe it will be easier on the ears after the work is completed.
This is a good traditional bar with many TVs, weekly karaoke events, pool tables, and plenty of seating. I found the fish and chips to be above average and the service was good. The music is so loud that it's hard to have a conversation, though.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
Ambience was good. There was 2 pool table to play. There was one location setup for photography. There was good space to sit. There was DJ who was playing nice songs. Food and drink was good.
Best wings I’ve tried in America hands downFood: 5/5
Drinks were great , but I would stay away from the food. Everything was extremely salty tots , chips , wings Fish in the fish &chips had really strange texture frozen/old?
On the verge of all new good things to come, Pub 85 history will stay the same, adding wood fired pizza to already outstanding menu options! Go for supporting the past meeting the future where we can celebrate the difference!Food: 5/5
