I was referred here by the VA Community Care and I have never been so impressed by any community care referral until now. I want to give Dr. Massey and his staff 100 stars. The level of professionalism, top notch communication, smooth process, and how fast I went from the referral to my first injection is unmatched. I have been in terrible pain since 2009 and have seen many pain management providers and this place is the first one to have left me speechless and in awe. I am looking forward to my pain relief journey here.
Kim was amazing listened to me about my veins. So sorry when the first one blew. She got it 3 pokes but was my veins not her. Vita in recovery the nicest lady ever. I was worried as I was told I could not have anyone with me at all . They did let my husband come in to see me for a bit. In this time we need family. I had no bad things with any of the nurses or surgery crew. Dr lewis is the best ever.
The Doctors, nurses, and anesthesiologist were all really nice and knowledgeable about my medical conditions. I'm glad I went with the surgery and had it done here. It was very comforting to know I was in good hands and well taken care of by Dr. Peterson and the whole surgical team there.
I had a simple carpal tunnel surgery today. When the IV for the numbing block didn't want to cooperate for my wonderful pre-op nurse, she did like I asked before 1st poke and didn't dig for the vein, she tried twice and gave me options for someone else. The 1st choice was nurse Lisa, she got the same request and explanation as my other nurse, I calmly said everything to her expected the same respectful response. I was wrong. She acted offended and said "we'll see". I explained my fight response and she said something intentionally provoking, then blind rage from nerves and lack of sleep hit and I exploded not ok, I know. It came to a point that I told her she wasn't going to touch me and I wanted to see her supervisor. Many passive aggressive comments from nurse Lisa and 3 requests to speak to her boss later and it was my kind, compassionate nurses that actually made it happen they were not there for all the first requests. In the end the amazing anesthesiologist told me I could simply be under general and no one had to place anything else. The utter lack of compassion and understanding, mixed with the vile bedside manner lowered the rating I gave, but if we hadn't requested the assistance or illusion thereof of nurse Lisa it would have been a 5/5. I apologized to my pre-op nurses, they didn't deserve to experience that.
Tonia was amazing! As well as, all the other staff. From the moment I walked in, to the moment they helped me out and into the car. They all were VERY nice and professional and you could just tell that they all did their jobs with such great passion and care. I highly would recommend them as a go to place for surgery. Tonia was so nice she even called to check up on me a few days after I came home. Thank you to all who was involved in this process i appreciate each and every one of you! YOU ALL ARE VERY GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO! God Bless you all
I've been to the surgery center 4 times now and every time has been a great experience. The nurses and staff are all so very considerate and pleasant, my doctor was courteous and thorough. If you're going to receive care here rest assured you are in very good and capable hands.
I have had the opportunity to receive care at this facility numerous times in the past couple of years. With each experience, I have found the front office extremely professional and easy to work with. In addition, the health care workers are friendly, efficient, and compassionate. I have always been taken care of very well.
Today my two year old son had surgery at The Pueblo Surgery Center. His original diagnosis was cystic phobrosis and is terminal diagnosis had caused my emotions to frey. Dr.McLean performed the surgery, and it was successful. Overall the ansteologist, and RN staff where wonderful. Unfortunately when approaching the counter at 6:24am as requested by the staff members to arrive at 6:30am for post op information. I opened the door with my terrified toddler, and was scolded verbally by the only staff member there. Her exact words" You where told to be here at 6:00am". I happened to be the only patient in the waiting room and felt insulted by her prejudicial judgement. The front desk staff is abusive, and judgemental. The facility front desk represenatives award each other for incompetence, and negligence toward clients according to Galia the head chairman of the facility. Go else where for help! Especially for your babies surgery. She pursued the conversation passively aggressively and carried no empathy toward the situation. Pathetic customer service, people deserve to know what to expect especially if you have tattoos, or any form of character. Spend your money else where, and feel good about getting help that is empathetic, and prejudice free. Despite medicaid, or medical staff should be help responsible for their actions Including the front desk members. Thanks for reading
The whole team was so great with my two year old daughter. I was a nervouse wreck with her having to go through a 2 hour surgery. They went above and beyond for my little girl. I highly recommend!
