Pueblo West Library

This library is beautiful outside and in. I work from home and was having trouble with internet .. So they were kind enough to let me plug up outside for my entire shift to help save my job. Not only that there's a park right behind it with a free splash pad that my kids loved the heck out of!! Out of every place that turned me away with this request . This was the only location that was kind to me!!

Gone are the days of quiet study areas. Between the foosball table, the young adults facetiming on speakerphone, and loud Librarians, there aren’t many quiet places unless you are able to reserve them well ahead of time. When the librarians answer to loud people in the library is for you to move to another nook rather than ask people to be quiet. I will not be voting for any more money to go to the library when they ask. Feels more like a recreation center than a library.

Great library with friendly staff. Play area for the kiddos in the children's area. The place is clean and they will help you with getting other books and holds. I love the activities and summer reading program

Absolutely great place, so many programs are offered. The library is practically self sufficient when it comes to checking out books and the kid areas are such a wonderful touch. I took 3/4 of my kiddos and we were there for almost 2hrs just enjoying the space. 10/10 would recommend. If you have a library card get the Libby app to download books remotely from your library!

Beautiful..staff very helpful and friendly.. Perfect environment for study, leisure reading, or researching...like the place!

I appreciate that it's here to serve, but shelves are half full and selections are conservatively biased. Classics section is hardly there, philosophy section hardly there, but you'll find plenty of conservative religious and political books as well as tons of teen/adult fiction - but honestly nothing that really matters research, ethics, philosophy, environment, medical etc etc Pueblos libraries need to do better by their community.

I went in today and needed help with my Gmail account. Rachel was such an amazing help, she went above and beyond. I am so grateful for all her help and knowledge!!! The world needs more people like her.

Took a friend that needed to retrieve & print a PDF off her computer. Not being very illiterate with computers…we BOTH needed assistance. The Librarian was EVER SO PATIENT…she assisted my friend all the way through print out!!!! Then instructed me on how to reserve…check out…& notification routes for books on hold!!! THANK YOU PUEBLO WEST LIBRARY & LIBRARIAN!!! You’re the best!!!

Amazing library. Great selection, the librarians are so sweet, kind, and patient! They have great craft kits you can take home and do as well. They have also added activities at the library that you participate in, now that covid is shut down.

Excellent facility, nice, clean, organize, with a really helpful staff. Has a lot great books from history, mystery, fiction, academics, audiobooks, language lessons, and a lot books on Spanish to accommodate the population where is located. I frequently visit this library with the kids, and my kids love to checkout books and movies. Also saves me a lot of money on buying books the only going to read once.
