As part of the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering (RCHE) at Purdue University, Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA) serves the training, project facilitation and assessment needs of clinics and hospitals.
To improve patient care by enabling healthcare organizations to build capacity for change.
Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering at Purdue University serves as a national nucleus for driving high-impact improvement in healthcare delivery. As the Center’s applied research arm, Purdue Healthcare Advisors builds relationships with faculty, departments, and other centers across Purdue to support research on the problems that keep us from realizing value-based care.
Quality Services
PHA’s subject-matter experts are well versed in the performance measures, legislation, resources, and technology associated with the CMS Quality Payment Program, and has assisted more than 5,000 physicians as they work to comply with government standards associated with practice transformation for patient-focused, value-based care.
Health IT Security
We consult, educate, train, and guide practices and hospitals on privacy and security issues. We visit an average of 650 healthcare facilities per year to provide assessments, testing, audits, project management, training and other services. Team members are certified by (ISC)²; the SANS Institute; and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
Process Improvement
We have worked with more than 150 hospitals to build capacity for lean skills through a combination of training, improvement events, and project management. For more than a decade, we have used lean to improve patient flow; reduce hospital acquired conditions; enhance patient satisfaction; and make other improvements that drive quality and revenue up and cost down.
