The School of Engineering Technology offers degree programs in mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology, manufacturing engineering technology and engineering technology. These programs encompass nine majors, (including audio engineering technology, automation and systems integration engineering technology, computer engineering technology, electrical engineering technology, energy engineering technology, engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, mechatronics engineering technology, and robotics engineering technology), so you can specialize in specific areas.
In Purdue's engineering technology degree programs, class and lab projects allow you to discover how to use materials, sensors, mechanisms, electronic parts, and processes to develop and run the products and systems we need. No matter which major you choose, you will work with the latest technologies and use them to solve society's technical challenges. This is best illustrated by our industry-sponsored capstone projects for seniors. You will work with an industry partner - a real customer - to solve their challenge in a realm such as safety, automation, or energy.
Your engineering technology degree will prepare you to make an immediate impact in the workforce - as an engineer, problem solver, communicator and leader.
Provide quality education, using best practices and technical discovery, to prepare our students to positively impact the global community. Students first in all we do.
