Nothing but great things to say about this studio and the classes! I started doing pure barre about 2 years ago used to do barre elsewhere when I lived in Manhattan - it is one of my favorite workouts. Jess and the rest of the staff and instructors at Pure Barre Plainview are the best! They are so welcoming and go above and beyond to make the studio feel like a community. The studio is super clean which is very important to me, especially during these times. There are so many options for classes and times - my favorite being “empower”! They offer many different affordable class packages and really appreciate all their clients. I love doing the workout with my friends, we all love it!
Absolutely love the feeling of leaving a Pure Barre workout. I’ve been weight training for years and haven’t seen the toning progress that I had after just a few workouts here. The instructors are so helpful and help you find your best form. Highly recommend!
I can’t say enough great things about Pure Barre Plainview! I started a few weeks ago and I am hooked! I felt completely comfortable in class and in the studio since my first day. The instructors are so welcoming, helpful and love what they do. It has become my favorite part of the day!
I love this low impact, core strengthening workout. With my age 61 and lower back issues it’s perfect for me. If I ever need any modifications, the wonderful teachers help me with them. I also love that there are different formats and that everyone here is so friendly and welcoming.
Last year, I was dedicated to powerlifting but then hated how I looked because of how much bulk I put on. I was constantly bloated and felt stuck. In July of 2022, I tried Pure Barre and never looked back. I immediately fell in love with it. I have now leaned out my muscles and lost about 20 lbs. I am so happy that I found a workout that gave me the results I was looking for. I love the Pure Barre team and how welcoming the environment is. I highly recommend this place to all.
My home away from home! I've been a client here for many years -- because of how effective the workout is and how great the community is. The instructors, desk staff, and other clients are so friendly. And all of the instructors are wonderful and provide all the corrections needed to get the most out of the workout. 10/10 recommend!
I just started Pure Barre a few weeks ago at the Plainview location. Everyone has been friendly, helpful, and so knowledgeable! I love going to classes and the instructors are phenomenal!
I absolutely adore this studio, this workout, and the amazing community of women who teach and run Pure Barre Plainview! Going to sum it up in a few bullets marketing girlies know what the fellow readers want High “Return on Investment,” so to speak: I’ve gone through a variety of workout phases high-end gym memberships, personal virtual and in person training, private pilates lessons, etc. as most women I know have. Barre feels like the perfect intersection of the results I saw through these workouts, without the unsustainably high costs associated with 1:1 bookings. I feel appropriately sore after my workout but not like I’m in pain, am seeing the lean muscle I’m building, and most notably, am grateful for the ENDORPHINS! I needed to implement workout routine for myself I could stick with for my mental health — my psychiatrist said she is also a PB girlie so I took the leap. I personally need the accountability of a class I’ve booked to actually show up and WERK, and this does the trick and more. I’m absolutely hooked and know it’s a sustainable healthy habit for me. This type of movement works for me because the balance of strength/flexibility/cardio checks all the different boxes we need for heart and lungs/brain/bones in one fell swoop. If you need to get it all done in one setting this is it! Empowering, welcoming studio environment: I had previously been dragged — literally kicking and screaming — to an INTENSE barre class in the city by a friend. I could not have been more miserable. If this has been your experience with barre in the past, I encourage you to sign up for foundations and give it a new go here. This team sets you up to thrive with realistic expectations and wants you to feel safe to adapt to your body’s limitations without judgment — and supported to challenge yourself and push your limits, too. From the kindest women at the front desk like Kerry, hey queen! who are always available to respond to you - even via their snazzy and convenient texting platform, to Jessica, the manager, who has literally gotten in touch with me on a Sunday at 8pm to make sure I wasn’t double charged for my membership, to the teachers, like Jess F, who knows I have trouble balancing my left side and ALWAYS spot corrects me when I’m struggling I see you girl, TY!, I have nothing but the best things to say. I also have to shoutout that Jess always ends class reminding us to thank our bodies and calling us strong - I love that PB is grounded in a non-body hating this mindset, and that this is the language we use in studio when so much of “women’s” stereotypically workouts can veer toward shame! Round this out with all the most chill, lovely women alongside you in class who have never shown an ounce of judgment. All in credit to the vibes leadership puts out. The vibes are just right for girlies who love vibes. If you get it you get it, if you don’t and just want a workout that is also fine and you will feel more than at home here, too! Some people do not care about aesthetics and I am not one of those people. I did dance as a kid and I swear this feels like walking into dance classes circa 1999 in the best way — everyone’s got their fave spots, cubbies, etc. From the fun merch, the cute socks, and impeccable corporate branding, I just love THE PB VIBES. The studio is also hella clean, sparklingly fresh bathrooms, wipes abound, and if you’re super careful like me and still want to wear your mask no one will bat an eyelash. Love love love PURE BARRE PLAINVIEW THE ABSOLUTE MOST.
Absolute love going to Pure Barre Plainview. I drive all the way from Roslyn at minimum 3 days a week to be there. The manager, front desk staff and teachers are all fantastic and make you want to be a regular.
Pure barre Plainview is the best! The staff is kind and supportive and the studio is clean and inviting. I have made so many great friends and am so much stronger.
