Pushkin's Bakery

We had an incredible experience at Pushkin’s Bakery! They have so many gluten free, dairy free and vegan options, and everything we tried was delicious. We loved their #3 breakfast sandwich see photo! and got a handful of scones, muffins, breads, and cupcakes. All of the baked goods tasted so fresh and you could have fooled me that they’re gluten free! The staff was also exceptionally friendly. We will definitely stop here every time we’re in Sacramento!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! The sammies, the pastries, the cake! Everything is delicious. I have to remind myself that I live nearby and can come in anytime so I don’t actually have to buy one of everything even though I want to.

Popped in while getting coffee at Temple nextdoor. Great selection of pastries and very friendly staff. Everything was fresh. It was hard to decide what I wanted because everything looked so yummy. I ended up getting the #1 breakfast sandwich. I’ll be back!

The customer service is great. The gentleman that waited on us was so great with my boys as we drooled over all the yummy looking treats. It is rare to find a bakery that can accommodate our allergens, let alone one with SO many options. Especially for me since be a gluten free vegan I rarely get more then a salad. Here I got a wonderful sandwich and 2 tasty desserts. I wish we had this where we live, I would definitely be a regular.

Love this place! Out of town looking for options for my GF intolerant kiddo and this is the first time we’ve been to a fully gluten free bakery. We were so excited and the options were vast! Everything was fabulous— including customer service! We will be checking out their other locations, too. Highly recommend!

Was in town looking for a gluten free restaurant and found this gem. Affordable treats as well as delicious. Three tables outside to sit but no indoor seating. They have many baked goods/ pastries and a menu of sandwiches.

Fast and easy service. Wasn’t sure how I felt about gluten free baked goods but I would definitely return to try more. Large selection of different traditional and non-traditional bakery items. Can’t wait to try the whole menu!

Gluten free, dairy free and some items vegan! It is a very small space that only one or two people can come in while the rest wait in line. One cashier to help bag and pay. We tried the roll, the cinnamon blueberry coffee cake, the cinnamon roll, peanut butter vegan cupcake & the no name. The winners were all! Not hard to fall in love with well made products. Wasn’t too keen on how my cupcake was packaged because it fell apart by the time I got home. Online you can see what items are present daily as it changes. There was a sell for the cinnamon blueberry coffee cake as I’m guessing it was the last day it was on the menu. Great service. There is a perk if you sign up as a frequent buyer.

Tried to sell me unsanitary cupcakes… Sadly my kids love these cupcakes but after the last encounter I won’t be going back. We went to purchase cupcakes and my wife noticed there was a fly in the display case. When she pointed out the fly the associated shooed the fly away but tried to give her the same cupcake! How is that ok in any capacity? Eventually we were given cupcakes that were on the rack and not from the case. My wife didn’t want to make a scene so she tried to be desecrate about it and call the bakery when we left. After calling back to talk to Jose, the manager he offered to give a replacement but who’s to say they aren’t the same tainted cupcakes? he offered to give a credit towards future purchases but unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon. One star for the sales associate Two stars for trying to make things right Please do better training your staff proper food safety procedures. Let’s hope nobody gets sick tonight…

Love this place! Gluten-free and dairy-free baked goods from a dedicated allergen-free business. This was the first of all the Pushkin’s establishments, and it is very tiny. For the holidays, I’ve seen the line out the door and around the block. There are only a few seats outside of the bakery so it’s best to plan on grabbing your goodies to go.
