If I could leave no stars I would. There is no pride in ownership.The lack of clean facilities is a problem. The place is run down and in need of serious cleanup. The ORV's run 24/7 off the trails and use the campground instead and do not adhere to the speed limit. Leash law is not enforce. Don't waste your money on this place; it would be better spent elsewhere.
Been here as seasonal 4 years now, and the New Owners have this Campground looking so nice,what a refreshing thing to come home to. They have been working overtime to bring this place back to life. So many new features, and clean bathrooms now. Great friendly atmosphere, and Kate she is awesome, she is your number 1 go to girl. If you have any questions or concerns contact Kate. She will help you with all your concerns. come join us on the trails, even swimming, playing horseshoes or even hanging out, we would all love to have you, and you won't be disappointed. Such a beautiful place to call home away from home. SEE YOU SOON!
Been going there for years with a friend who has a seasonal. New ownership amazing. Hard working. Campground is looking much better. Highly recommended. Great for folks with dirt bikes, side by sides and 4 wheelers. Lots of trails very close. Also great for just relaxing.
This campground was great. Definitely more old school, but sites were good sized and the feeling of being in the woods was awesome. My boys had a blast. We were in a 40’ diesel pusher, and I definitely wouldn’t take anything larger as it was tight on the road around the campground. This has more of a primitive feel but was truly a camping feel. Kevin was a great host with an upfront and honest no bs approach. Thanks for a great holiday weekend
Had a blast on our Holliday weekend at Adventures of Putman Lake. First of all the staff is very friendly and Kate is on top of everything, from taking you to your site to getting wood to your site. Everything went great. Available sites w/ water & electric hook ups,bathrooms near office with showers were clean insideAlso near office is dump stationporta potty’s through out the camp ground. Pet friendlyIf you have kids this is your camp! They have trails for for Atvs,a lake for fishing and swimming jumping of inflatable water trampoline, did I mention they also have kayaks and paddle boat! The campsite are very spacious whether looking at just for tenting or taking your Trailer camper So as you can see I would definitely make this your camping destination because it sure surpassed 5 star rating for us! We are looking forward coming back again
I gave the manager a $200 deposit on a campground in February of 2021. I had to cancel as my camper was totaled in a traffic accident. The accident occurred within days of giving the manager my deposit. I called for a refund and he said he would send me a refund. It’s been over a year now. Every time I call, he laughs and says the check is in the mail. He’s made it clear he isn’t refunding my money. As a retired veteran, my money is budgeted. Don’t trust the manager with your money. Shame on him.
We had a fantastic weekend! The staff was always helpful and accommodating. Our family met there for a weekend of camping and canoeing, we had 10 adults and 3 kids we all had a great time. Thanks for your hospitality!
We stayed here for our family camp this year. I was nervous cause we haven't ever actually camped at a campground and this one was an hour away from home. But once we got there honestly two days wasn't long enough for our family. It went by so fast. We definitely plan to come back. The owner of the campground Kevin is very friendly and helpful. He has some rules but honestly that made our experience better. We definitely had a good time!
Pros: kayaking, canoeing, water trampoline, lake, park for kids, friendly owner, easy to navigate, orv trail, clean, shower room. Cons: none!!!! Ann's putman campground is amazing! All the reviews which stated that the owner is a piece of work are OUT DATED REVIEWS! the campground has a new owner Kate and she's beyond amazing! She was available with questions and answers/ concerns if any at all times. The campground is tricky to navigate at nighttime especially if you haven't been here before. But you can call Kate and she'll help you!! Everyone the other campers were all so welcoming and approachable as well. There is hot coffee, and hot chocolate and other items in the morning available! It's got a shower room, and a little park for the kids! The lake and the water trampoline was our favorite! There's also canoeing, and kayaking available ! There's an orv trail we didn't get to experience this time but for sure next time! Highly recommend for a staycation or even longer trip!!!!
Had a blast camping with friends and family. The new owner Kate is amazing and very respectful. Campsite was clean and nice. Lake was beautiful. Very very nice campground loved my stay and will definitely be going back to camp or hopefully get a seasonal lol
