This is a great location to put in a boat for access to lake Murray. It has great potential for development but its presence is greatly distracted by the presence of trailers, disheveled buildings and grounds. I will say that there have been some improvements in the docks in the last 2 years possibly because they were rotten, dangerous to walk on and about ready to fall into the lake. Some removal of junk cars and such has also occurred but the fencing needs to be either replaced or removed. Buildings all need paint and general upkeep. People are charged to put their boats in so most use the nearby park and ramp which is free.
Once again here we go with biased opinions since I have family that have lived on Lake Murray since the 70s I've been to virtually every landing on Lake Murray and this is another one that is easy access and parking available

Wonderful folks, the owner has forgotten more than most people know. Gas prices are better than most places and like Jakes landing they are honest!
